Is the Leftmedia Trying to Incite Riots — or Worse?

One of the highlights of election night last week was watching the meltdown of MSNBC hosts¹ like Nicolle Wallace, Joy Reid, and Rachel Maddow, among others². Of course, there were some on CNN³ who deserve dishonorable⁴ mentions, and ABC⁵ also threw some ugly comments. We do call it the Leftmedia for a reason.

Is it very different from the hatred⁶ and lies⁷ that have been peddled long before Donald Trump rode the escalator to announce his 2016 presidential bid? No, it’s just a continuation of that lengthy list⁸ that started long before Trump entered the political arena.

But those lies — lies that the Leftmedia eagerly spreads — have consequences⁹. Can anybody doubt that the lies and hatred thrown at Trump motivated the bulk-mail ballots¹⁰, the targeting of conservative media¹¹, and “Zuck Bucks”¹² that “fortified”¹³ the 2020 election? Of course, because of the lies, many on the Left believed that America’s soul was at stake. Loyal Patriot Post readers should ask themselves how far they would go to save America’s soul.

This lack of civility has had other effects, too. Does anyone doubt that the shooting¹⁴ at a Republican practice for the 2017 congressional baseball game by a Bernie Bro didn’t stem, at least partially, from the claims that Republican healthcare plans would leave tens of thousands dead¹⁵? The media went after Sarah Palin¹⁶ in the wake of the murder rampage in Tucson with far less evidence (but a lot more hate). The cries of racism¹⁷ have come from the Leftmedia again, and like other claims¹⁸ of racism, they’re not just lies, they’re triple whoppers with bacon and cheese (with apologies to the delicious Burger King menu item).

Of course, they claim it was Trump who was the threat to our constitutional republic, even as they utterly destroyed norms and standards¹⁹ to get him. Add the comments of Maxine Waters²⁰ and her long track record²¹ of incitement, and it seems that the Leftmedia is okay with that sort of incendiary rhetoric²².

Here’s something to consider: By the Left’s rules, Trump’s speech on January 6 was cause for impeachment, even though he clearly called for peaceful protest. So what about all this stuff from the likes of MSNBC, CNN, and various left-wingers? That, too, warrants consequences, and those consequences don’t have to include government action.

For instance, this rhetoric clearly justifies the adoption of much stronger safeguards surrounding election procedures, and it also makes certain presumptions on the part of grassroots Patriots reasonable. After hearing the Left’s own words and seeing the meltdown over 2021, wouldn’t it be a good idea to require the use of certified mail²³ for both the absentee ballot applications and the ballots themselves, with strong signature verification in order to establish chain of custody?

Worse, there is a lengthy track record²⁴ of physical assaults²⁵, along with a long list of abuses²⁶ of power²⁷ and double standards²⁸ across multiple arenas²⁹, including post-election recounts/audits³⁰.

Quite frankly, if the Leftmedia wonders why grassroots Patriots feel threatened, they just need to look at the clips from their past shows. Because they’re a lot closer to incitement than Trump ever was.
