The Patriot Post® · Joe Biden, Deadbeat Granddad
A halfway decent granddad will acknowledge his grandkids. A good one will love them no matter how they’re attached to his family.
Joe Biden is neither good nor decent. He’s a deadbeat granddad who refuses to admit he has seven grandchildren because the seventh is rather inconvenient to his, er, stellar image as a devoted family man.
This isn’t news, of course. We’ve written about Joe and Jill Biden ignoring their seventh grandchild once or twice.
“I have six grandchildren, and I’m crazy about them,” Biden bragged to a group of children in April. “They’re crazy about me because I pay so much attention to them.”
Well, except that seventh one.
One of those acknowledged grandchildren, a daughter from Hunter Biden’s first marriage, even got married on the South Lawn of the White House last year. His other grandchildren sometimes travel the world with him.
Meanwhile, Biden helps the Rainbow Mafia target your children. “These are our kids,” he said at a “pride” event. “Not somebody else’s kids; they’re all our kids.”
Well, except that one little girl of Hunter’s.
The new news is that, just before last holiday weekend, Hunter Biden and Lunden Roberts, the former Arkansas stripper a DNA test confirmed he impregnated, came to an agreement regarding child support for four-year-old Navy Joan. In short, she gets monthly money and a few of Hunter’s fabulous paintings in exchange for being denied the Biden family name.
Or, evidently, any public acknowledgement from the family or the White House.
In fact, Joe Biden reportedly ordered his staff to deny Navy Joan’s existence by refusing to answer any of the questions that inevitably arose after the child-support agreement became public.
Ever the dutiful obscurer of truth, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre responded to one question, “I don’t have anything to share from here.”
White House reporter brings up an NY Times article on Hunter Biden’s daughter in Arkansas and asks if the president acknowledges the little girl as his granddaughter.

At least Navy Joan has one good granddad, Rob Roberts. "I may not be the POTUS,” he said, but he’ll make sure she “needs for nothing and never will.” He said that to The New York Times in a rare Leftmedia story about the fiasco. In it, the Times noted a chilling truth: “The girl is aware that her father is Hunter Biden and that her paternal grandfather is the president of the United States. She speaks about both of them often, but she has not met them.”
Now, she’ll grow up knowing that the most powerful man in the world abandoned her to anonymity.
In some ways, the sad story of our country right now is fathers who’ve abandoned their children. The children who aren’t aborted, anyway.
Why is “good Catholic” Joe Biden behaving this way? We can only surmise that it’s because the “Big Guy” is so dead set on pretending that Hunter’s myriad problems have nothing to do with him that he’ll go to any lengths to pretend everything’s just fine. The same goes for Dr. Jill Biden, who not only disgracefully props up a husband clearly not up to the job but who uses the trappings of power and her own less-than-stellar doctorate in education to create a picture of what a great defender of children she is.
These are not trustworthy people. Remember, this is a couple whose love story possibly began with infidelity, and a man who has repeatedly lied even about his own family tragedies.
We know voters don’t care much anymore about sordid family tales, even involving the candidates themselves, much less wastrel grown sons. That’s probably because this sort of thing is far more common than anyone cares to admit.
But shouldn’t it matter that Joe Biden’s narrative about being a more decent guy than Donald Trump is a despicable lie? Biden is not a good man leading the free world. He’s a cruel authoritarian who tramples kids on the way to exercising power.
Our country, imperfect though it is, deserves better.
