Last week, Canadians witnessed in horror the deadliest school mass shooting since the 1989 Montreal Polytechnique attack — this one at a high school in the small village of Tumbler Ridge in British Columbia. A so-called “transgender” male identifying as a female, who was identified by news outlets as a “gunperson,” murdered six children after murdering two relatives.
This attack was the latest by a gender confusion cult adherent. As I posted on our social media pages, “The transgender cult ideology not only destroys the lives of gender confused kids; some of those kids then grow up to become a threat to all of us.”
That resulted in predictable outrage from the gender dysphoric crowd and their defenders. But their protests fell strangely silent Monday after a shooting at a hockey game in Rhode Island by another sociopathic man identifying as a woman.
I have extensively researched mass shootings over the last 30 years, and we have written about some of those committed by an emerging group of assailants, those who fit gender confusion profiles.
Among such attacks over the last four years, the deadliest was the May 2022 assault at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, where an 18-year-old sociopath murdered 19 elementary school children and two adults. The assailant was the product of the social entropy and cultural devolution that has permeated the fabric of our nation.
Typical of young mass assailants, he was from a deeply troubled fatherless home, had no faith context, and in this case, also demonstrated degrees of gender dysphoria.
In November 2022, there was the Colorado Springs attack by a homosexual assailant, which left five dead and 25 wounded.
In March 2023, there was the hate crime murder of six at The Covenant School in Nashville by a female assailant identifying as a male, who was associated with militant homosexual “defend equality” groups.
That year, there was also the attack on a July 4th celebration in Philadelphia, when a gender confused sociopath, who was also involved with the Marxist Black Lives Matter radicals, murdered five and injured five others.
There was the assault last year at Annunciation Catholic School by a gender confused male.
While the number of mass assaults by gender dysphoric individuals is a small percentage of total mass assaults, as an identity group, it is significant. By one estimate, when looking deeper into the backgrounds of assailants, 10% have gender issues.
There are some reasons for that.
As The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh observed about the “trans” subset of gender confused assailants:
Trans ideology is basically defeated at a cultural and political level … but that will only make its adherents even more dangerous as they face the humiliation of having devoted their lives to a lie that everyone has now moved on from. Many of them will decide that they can’t live with the horror. … Any trans-identified person is by definition: 1) mentally ill 2) delusional 3) self-destructive. The fact that this group accounts for the most mass shooters per capita is not remotely surprising. If you wanted to invent an ideology specifically designed to create mass murderers, it would be trans ideology. … The entire gender transition industry must be forcibly shut down immediately, not just for the sake of the gender confused people it preys upon, but for the safety of the general public.
Since 2024, there is plenty of evidence that support for the broader gender cult agenda is in decline.
National Review’s Rich Lowry wrote:
The people who have ‘transitioned’ have poured a massive amount of emotional and financial investment into their choice, and there is no going back. The last thing that they want to hear — from anyone — is that it is all a fraud, that they’ve wasted all that psychic energy and money, that they’ve harmed themselves via hormones or surgery for no reason. The level of delusion involved in the trans cause, meanwhile, requires pushing on all fronts, to get every claim of the trans advocates accepted and to squash all dissent. If there’s one crack in the edifice, it discredits the entire enterprise.
To that end, as recently noted by family advocate Tony Perkins: “The AMA acknowledged that there is insufficient evidence to continue supporting surgical interventions on minors under the banner of ‘gender-affirming care.’ … It appears the prospect of accountability — not compassion — finally prompted the AMA’s concession.”
Indeed, not only are corporations no longer afraid to pull back support of the Rainbow Mafia’s month-long gender confusion celebrations each June, but emerging malpractice lawsuits over gender mutilation are prompting policy changes by major medical groups.
There is also evidence that woke religious institutions that have supported the “gay agenda” are also suffering the consequences, most notably the Episcopal sect, now viewed as apostate by the World Anglican Communion.
I have written about faithful compassion for those afflicted with gender disorientation pathology — compassion the Episcopal Church has abandoned.
And at long last, there is a rising tide of opposition to men participating in women’s sports.
Naturally, the usual suspects continue their efforts to normalize gender pathology, including the so-called “Human Rights Campaign,” which claims it has 3.6 million members promoting homosexual equality. Notably, however, HRC is losing its demands for corporate support. The number of Fortune 500 companies participating in its CEI scorecard is down 65%, from 377 to 131.
But all of these developments are lost on the leftists now running the Democrat Party, those who spent the last five years screaming “follow the science.”
Demos have become the nation’s leading advocates for the heterophobic cult of binary gender deniers. They continue to advocate for and defend their degenderization deviancy — i.e., gender mutilation of children — and their transnormalcy agenda promoting gender devolution.
And they now even have a “trans” posterchild in the House, Rep. “Sarah” McBride (D-DE), who this past weekend rolled out the same old tripe against those who don’t get in line behind his agenda: “At the end of the day, transphobia, homophobia, misogyny, and sexism are all rooted in the same prejudice. … And it’s why threats toward trans people are threats toward all women.”
He is the sole representative from Joe Biden’s home state. Shocker, I know.
And speaking of Biden, recall that when USA Today announced its “Women of the Year” after his election, among the actual women on the short list was a pretender, Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services Rachel Levine, formerly known as Richard Levine. That is the man Biden chose to, in Levine’s words, lead “the nation through this greatest public health crisis,” the COVID pandemic.
USA Today included him among the “strong and resilient women who have been champions of change across the country, leading and inspiring as they promote and fight for equity, and give others a place to seek help and find hope.”
Surreal.
As a reminder, there is a political strategy behind the Demo defense of their most deviant and delusional constituents. Why expend so much political time and energy on this defense? The Demos’ appeasement of this small but vocal gender confused constituency has nothing to do with compassion and everything to do with cruel, callous political calculation.
Demos know they can give no ground regarding defense of their deviant gender-outlier constituents because they connect the dots between the 5% of Demo constituents who are in the “gay and lesbian” category and the support of that small group by the Democrats’ largest and most critical voting bloc, women.
Democrat strategists believe their female voters are emotionally incontinent idiots who can be manipulated into dependably voting Democrat by promoting emotionally provocative issues. Oh the irony that a large number of Demo women support this tiny but very vocal gender-confused identity group.
That is why this week, the ever-pandering Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is pushing a bill to give the “Pride” flag the same congressionally-recognized protected status as our national banner, military and POW/MIA flags.
Bottom line: Violence by those suffering from gender confusion pathology is on the rise, but the damage being perpetrated by the Demo’s gender cult agenda on millions of vulnerable souls, particularly young people, is incalculable.
