In 2016, I was faced with a decision to vote for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. I admit I was NOT a fan of Trump, but when it came down to who to vote for, it was a no-brainer. I knew where Hillary would take the country. I could only hope Trump would do some things right. I voted for Trump and I’ve been amazed at what has happened since then.

I know some will bring up the issue of his character. Yes, Trump has character flaws. But so do I and everyone else I know. What’s been amazing to me is how God has used a flawed person like Trump to do so much good. Actually, it’s not amazing because the Lord does that all the time. I’m living proof of how God can use a flawed person to accomplish His work.

Trump has appointed two conservatives to the Supreme Court, largely stopping its leftward tilt. He appointed nearly 200 federal judges to the courts. He’s the most pro-life president we’ve ever had and the first to actually speak at the March for Life.

He moved the American embassy to Jerusalem after many presidents said they would but lacked the courage to actually do it. He rebuilt our military and began bringing our warriors home from wars that had dragged on far too long. He supports law enforcement and has offered federal help to mayors and governors of states experiencing riots, mayhem, and destruction — only to be rebuffed and then blamed for the violence he tried to stop.

When COVID-19 was unleashed on the world, he acted quickly to stop it. If Nancy Pelosi hadn’t been so wrapped up in preparing for her photo op of tearing up this year’s State of the Union speech, she might have heard Trump mention it. Medical experts say his efforts kept the pandemic from being worse. But the Left and the media (I repeat myself) blame Trump for the virus. Every time he mentioned opening up the economy, they cried foul. Now they blame him for the loss of jobs!

I understand why so many people hate Trump. It’s not because of things he’s done (if you take away his tweets!) but from everything they’ve heard from the media. It’s been nonstop 24/7 “hate Trump.” But there are people who realize his tax cuts put more money in their pockets and resulted in record employment for ALL minorities and women. He has cut government regulations, putting $3,100 each year into every family’s pocket.

For a flawed individual, President Trump has done more for people of faith in this country and around the world than anyone before him. He has spoken out for Christian values and moved to protect all religions around the world.

For nearly four years, the media and the Left have been telling us nonstop how evil Trump is and how he should be driven out of office. Yet during the entire time of Trump’s presidency, Democrats have done NOTHING to make this nation better. They have refused to work with Republicans. It has been investigation after investigation, lie after lie ad nauseam! Trump loves America. The Left does not. So why give Democrats the power to destroy this great nation more than they have already?
