Kamala Harris the Marxist
Joe Biden’s running mate and would-be president exposes herself as a totalitarian.
Karl Marx’s fantasy utopian vision of the future world where equity establishes the highest standard of morality has only ever brought about greater inequity, injustice, and massive suffering in every society where it’s been applied. The legacy of Marx’s ideology is one of massive death and suffering, as hundreds of millions have been brutally murdered in an effort to attain the impossible. Sadly, the siren song of Marxism, with its false promise of absolute fairness and equity for all, continues to be used by the devious and power-hungry to lure the foolish and naive into its deadly trap.
(Vice) presidential candidate Kamala Harris fully took the mask off and exposed just how far down the Marxist rabbit hole she has gone with a campaign ad in which she explained the difference between equality and equity and why she favors the latter. It serves as a window into her vision for the country. If she and her fellow Democrats are given the power to do so, they’ll turn the country into the United Soviet States of America.
The ad is narrated entirely by Harris and it sets the stage for her Marxist ethic by arguing that equality is not what we should be striving. Rather, equity should be the goal. “So there’s a big difference between equality and equity,” she opines. “Equality suggests, ‘Oh, everyone should get the same amount.’ The problem … [is that] not everybody’s starting out from the same place. So if we’re all getting the same amount, but you started out back there and I started out over here, we could get the same amount, but you’re still going to be that far back behind me.”
With this statement, Harris twists and argues against America’s core founding principle laid out in the Declaration of Independence. All people are created equal — not in station, ability, or position but in individual value and rights. That individual value is granted by our Creator, and securing the individual rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is the purpose of government.
Harris has dismissed these individual God-given rights for the vain and impossible goal of establishing a society where there are (supposedly) no losers. “It’s about giving people the resources and support they need so that everyone can be on equal footing, and then compete on equal footing,” she says. “Equitable treatment means we all end up at the same place.” In truth, hers is a chilling vision of elevating those who are deemed “behind” or disadvantaged at the expense of others. Yet in practice it does the opposite. The disadvantaged aren’t elevated, though those deemed “unfairly” advantaged or “privileged” are cut down in an artificial effort to reach equity.
As Marx himself wrote, “But one man is superior to another physically, or mentally, and supplies more labor in the same time, or can labor for a longer time; and labor, to serve as a measure, must be defined by its duration or intensity, otherwise it ceases to be a standard of measurement. This equal right is an unequal right for unequal labor. It recognizes no class differences, because everyone is only a worker like everyone else; but it tacitly recognizes unequal individual endowment, and thus productive capacity, as a natural privilege.”
Harris’s vision is that of a totalitarian state where Liberty is eliminated in favor of government-established “fairness.” Think Fidel Castro’s Cuba and Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela. It should scare every sane American that a full-fledged Marxist may end up sitting in the highest office in the land.
