The Anti-Christ, Anti-Conservative Movement
Lil Nas X has stirred up some hateful and disgusting things and is daring Christians to care.
There’s a real culture war taking place in our nation and Christians, and conservatives more generally, had better take notice. The social and political cesspool we stand in didn’t come out of nowhere. It has been brewing for decades and it is now upon us. Pop culture is the driving force behind what we eat, drink, celebrate, and dance to. Unfortunately, pop culture has no boundaries, as its intent is to dumb down our morals and values. The culture war is big business and the vultures have spotted their carcass, the American teenager.
Enter Montero Lamar Hill, a.k.a. Lil Nas X, yet another liberal with black skin playing the black pawn. This time, the devil is in the details.
The 21-year-old recording artist topped the charts with “Old Town Road” as a teenager in 2019. The song went viral on TikTok and has since set a record for the longest-running song at the No. 1 spot. Now he’s gone from his first “hit” commanding the stage at elementary schools to his latest song, “Montero,” the video for which features him sliding down a stripper pole into hell while twerking on the devil. Did you catch that?
A glance over Lil Nas X’s social media feeds in the few weeks leading up to the “Montero” drop would’ve suggested there was a clear and present danger by crossing the lines of playing religion and sexuality off one another.
Meanwhile, Lil Nas X released a shoe ludicrously called “Satan Shoes.” Luke 10:18 is emblazoned on the side of the shoe. It reads, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” The cost of the shoe is $1,018.00 to mock Luke 10:18. They are making only 666 limited edition pairs of the “dancing with the devil” sneaker. The musician said on Twitter he would choose the recipient of the 666th pair from social media users who circulated one of his tweets.
Parents are going bonkers. Why? Music made by worldly rich teenagers isn’t designed for a Sesame Street reaction. Christian conservatives have a lot of nerve to be shocked. You’ve always taught your children not to talk to strangers. Why allow total strangers to infiltrate the hearts and minds of your children? If this doesn’t get your attention, what will?
Lil Nas X certainly couldn’t care less. He wrote in a tweet: “i literally sing about lean & adultery in old town road. u decided to let your child listen. blame yourself.”
Candace Owens tweeted in response: “We’ve turned George Floyd, a criminal drug addict, into an icon. We are promoting Satan shoes to wear on our feet. We’ve got Cardi B named as woman of the year. But we’re convinced it’s white supremacy that’s keeping black America behind. How stupid can we be?”
This song and these shoes are an anti-Christ message with a pitchfork raised at religious conservatives. Will we continue to be marginalized into total oblivion? I don’t know about you, but I’m making sure my children are covered in prayer and are literate enough to decipher these luciferian media messages.
