Federal agents carried out a pre-dawn raid of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Washington, D.C., house Monday. We don’t have many details, but a spokesman for the Justice Department said the raid is related to an ongoing criminal investigation, perhaps into Omar’s immigration status.
 
Maybe nothing more comes of this. But we do know that a huge percentage of immigrants in Minneapolis who had received special status under our immigration laws lied about their family relationships.
 
Last year, immigration agents conducted 900 on-site visits and in-person interviews in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. They found evidence of fraud or national security concerns in 44% percent of the cases.
 
Whatever happens with Omar’s case, we know we are importing people from corrupt cultures, and they bring their corruption with them, as we have seen from all the fraud investigations that keep erupting in Minnesota. The corruption is not a quirk. It’s a cultural thing.
 
 
 
Pop Singer Attacks Christianity
 
Hayley Williams, the lead singer of the rock band Paramore, is an outspoken left-wing activist. Like many clueless celebrities, she often screams “Free Palestine” and “F—k ICE” at her concerts. Recently, she told her audience that “Christian nationalism is the greatest threat to American democracy.”
 
It was Christian nationalists—people who love Jesus and love America—who gave us our democratic republic 250 years ago! The greatest threat to our freedom comes from the Left, which increasingly embraces communism and demands we lie about biological reality. But I digress.
 
I’ve been trying to explain to some people, including pastors who are still asleep, that there is a concerted campaign with serious money behind it to demonize Christianity and Christians. There are major influencers who are obsessed with demonizing Christians.
 
In many cases, evangelicals who have fallen away from the faith are being used to smear their brothers and sisters in Christ. That is particularly true of Angie Sullivan, co-host of the radical left-wing “I’ve Had It” podcast.
 
She used to attend an evangelical megachurch. Now, she viciously mocks virtually every aspect of Christianity. It’s the kind of savage ridicule that leftists usually reserve for Jews.
 
The Left also constantly tries to intimidate Christians into silence. When Mike Rogers refers to his Democrat Senate opponent by his full name—Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed—leftists accuse him of using “anti-Muslim rhetoric.” What?! It’s his name!
 
The Left demands tolerance for everything, but it has zero tolerance for those who defend Judeo-Christian civilization. As I have said many times, Christians who say they don’t get involved in politics will someday find that politics has gotten very involved in their lives. But by the time they realize it, Christians may be too weak to do anything about it.
 
 
 
Looking Ahead
 
No matter how the election turns out 22 days from now, there will be some stressful days and weeks right after the election. And, no, it won’t be caused by President Trump making sure Iran cannot get a nuclear weapon. 

  • The Ukraine/Russian war shows no sign of ending. Forty-six months ago, every foreign policy expert and the American media said Vladimir Putinwas running out of ammunition. There is zero sign of that happening. In fact, it’s the exact opposite. 
  • The Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen have stepped up their attacks against Saudi Arabia. A strike on a civilian airport over the weekend killed 13 people, including one American, and wounded 300 more. That is not Trump’s fault. The Houthis and the Saudis were at war during the Biden/Harris administration. But Biden forced the Saudis to give up and removed the Houthis from the list of designated terrorist organizations. Yet another mess for Trump to clean up. 
  • Of course, the Iran war is not over. There will be more big decisions made about that conflict in the days ahead. Given the frequency of major Iranian/Islamic terrorist plots being disrupted in Europe, Israel and the United States, remember to pray for our intelligence and law enforcement agencies. We have to succeed every time, while the terrorists only have to succeed once.
