A key inflation metric the Federal Reserve closely monitors increased to 3.3% in July on an annualized basis, while core inflation ticked up to 4.2%. I’ve heard a number of commentators try to downplay the increase by suggesting that if you exclude food and energy prices, it’s not so bad.

Well, sure! Every family would love to have a budget where they didn’t have to pay for food and energy. But that’s not reality.

The unfortunate reality is that 61% of Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck. And energy costs are only going to get worse as Biden imposes more and more restrictions on energy production.

This is Bidenomics, and it’s a total bust. And yet we continue to spend money we don’t have, which means more inflation. Working-class and middle-class Americans are getting crushed every day by Biden’s price hikes.

Unfortunately, there’s a lot of misinformation about inflation coming from the Biden White House and its media propagandists. For example, inflation peaked just above 9% in 2022. It’s down to 4%, so Biden is bragging that he’s cut inflation in half. No, he didn’t — it’s still going up!

The 4% increase is on top of the 9% increase! That’s nothing to celebrate.

If something increases in price from $10 to $12 dollars, that’s a 20% increase. If it then goes from $12 to $13, you don’t celebrate the fact that the inflation is going down. The total inflation is now 30%.

The rate of inflation or the rate of price increases may be declining, but, overall, prices are still increasing under Biden and they are soul-crushing to millions of Americans.

Our money is being permanently devalued by big government, big spending Democrats.

Putting America Last

While Americans are struggling to make ends meet, the Biden Administration is doing everything it can to make things harder. Biden’s open borders policies are causing massive economic distortions, such as housing and rent, and imposing tremendous burdens on the American people.

In response to heavy pressure from Democrat politicians, Biden is launching a new initiative to speed up the processing of work visas for millions of illegal immigrants. This is another example of putting American citizens last as it gives U.S. jobs to migrants and puts downward pressure on wages.

The Democrat governor of Massachusetts has declared a state of emergency and mobilized the National Guard. Guard members are being deployed not to assist Americans with a natural disaster, but to assist at housing shelters and hotels struggling to cope with the huge influx of illegal aliens into Massachusetts.

New York City schools have reportedly enrolled 20,000 children of illegal aliens. Educating non-English speaking students costs significantly more than English speaking students.

In addition, the Biden Administration and city officials are not requiring proof of vaccination for any of these children, which is required for the children of New York residents. At the same time, city officials are warning about increased cases of tuberculosis and polio associated with the burgeoning unvaccinated population of illegal aliens.

Lastly, the Biden Administration is reportedly suing Elon Musk’s Space X corporation for “discriminating” in its hiring practices in favor of U.S. citizens. Not that long ago, the Trump Administration sued Facebook for discriminating against U.S. citizens in hiring. That shows you how priorities can change from one administration to the next.

Targeting Musk

Kudos to Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) for demanding to know why the Justice Department is putting migrants ahead of U.S. workers in the Space X case. He also questions whether this action is related to Musk’s acquisition of Twitter.

The Biden Administration is obsessed with Elon Musk. There are plenty of billionaires engaged in questionable dealings, but they’re largely overlooked because they are left-wing.

Musk, however, committed the unforgivable sin. Not only does he oppose the progressive left’s “woke mind virus,” he broke the left’s domination of social media and exposed how progressive Big Tech oligarchs and the Deep State were working to censor the American people and hide the truth.

Now Donald Trump is back on Twitter as we’re heading into an election cycle. This is just another example of the weaponization of federal law enforcement against the regime’s political opponents. This is what happens in totalitarian societies, not free nations.

Targeting Thomas

Last week, Justice Clarence Thomas filed updated financial disclosure reports, triggered as a result of grossly distorted and misleading media headlines. Predictably, however, the new filings didn’t calm the issue. It only whetted the left’s appetite and set off a new round of wild speculation.

Don’t fall for the trap of media smears and distortions. It’s all lies.

During the Kavanaugh confirmation battle, I heard from many people who were ready to cut and run. Kavanaugh accusers were popping up all over the country with the most outlandish stories. It was all lies. And as soon as he was confirmed, they all disappeared.

The left’s only standard is power. They will tear down anyone by any means necessary. In most cases, the target audience for these smears is Christians, who rightly recoil at the idea of corruption in public office.

But these progressives are lying to you, just like they lie about everything, whether it’s abortion on demand, critical race theory in our schools, the border being secure, Russian collusion and pregnant men!

Why would you trust them on anything?

• A California mother won a $100,000 settlement against a local school district that “socially transitioned” her daughter without her consent.
• Concerned parents and pro-family activists in California are launching a ballot initiative to ban mutilating transgender surgeries on children.
• Missouri recently became the first state to successfully defend at the trial court level its commonsense ban against transgender experiments on children. Attorney General Andrew Bailey is warning hospitals that they will lose their licenses if they perform such radical experiments on children.
• Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen signed an executive order establishing a “Women’s Bill of Rights” to ensure that women’s spaces in sports, prisons, domestic abuse shelters and restrooms are protected from men who claim to be women.
• The Texas Supreme Court overturned a lower court injunction and allowed the state law protecting children from mutilating transgender surgeries to take effect.
