Trump’s Historic Victory

“He’s the nominee. Get over it. He is the nominee. He’s going to win the nomination.”

Congratulations to Donald Trump on his historic, record-breaking victory in Iowa! Here are the final results:

Donald Trump 51%
Ron DeSantis 21%
Nikki Haley 19%
Vivek Ramaswamy 8%

To win a clear majority of the vote on a night of severe weather and ice-covered roads was extraordinary.

Believe it or not, Trump was outspent in Iowa by both DeSantis and Haley. In fact, Trump spent $340 per vote cast for him, while DeSantis spent $1,697 per vote and Haley spent $1,797 per vote.

Some people say that if the other candidates had united around one alternative, the results would have essentially been a tie. But that doesn’t reflect reality.

Vivek Ramaswamy dropped out of the race Monday night and threw his support to Trump. If DeSantis drops out, polling shows that the majority of his voters would back Trump. Combined, Trump, DeSantis and Ramaswamy won 80% of the vote Monday night.

Nikki Haley says that it’s now a two-person race. (Tell that to Ron DeSantis.) But she should hope it’s not. If it gets down to Trump versus Haley, in my view, she won’t get within 40 points of Trump.

I was happy to see a few weeks ago that Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), who has been a real star in the past month as she took on the academic establishment, endorsed Donald Trump.  Monday night, she called on the other candidates to step aside.

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich put it bluntly when he told Sean Hannity Monday night, “He’s the nominee. Get over it. He is the nominee. He’s going to win the nomination.”

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson also dropped out after finishing in sixth place with less than 200 votes.

The Democrat Results

If you were looking, you may have had trouble finding the results of the Iowa Democrat caucuses. That’s because there aren’t any results. There were Democrat caucuses, but they only discussed party business and the selection of delegates to the DNC national convention.

The progressive left has long argued that Iowa and New Hampshire are “too white” and don’t deserve the outsized influence of kicking off the presidential campaign season. As a result, the state party decided to use a mail-in system this year and won’t announce the results until March 5th.

On To New Hampshire

The next stop in the presidential campaign is New Hampshire, which allows Independent or “undeclared voters” to vote in either the Democrat or the Republican primary. There’s also an organized effort among Democrats to switch their party registration in order to vote for Nikki Haley in the GOP primary next week.

While Trump has the lead, Haley is doing well in New Hampshire. The latest polls give Trump a 15-point lead, but Chris Christie was getting around 11% and most of his supporters will presumably back Haley.

After New Hampshire, the campaign moves to South Carolina, Haley’s home state. Well, the polls there show Trump dominating by 30 points.

Thoughts On Haley

I’m sure some readers think Nikki Haley is the best candidate. I disagree. She is being funded by the pro-amnesty corporate elements of the GOP that have made it so ineffectual for decades.

By the way, we keep being told that Democrats desperately want Trump to be nominated because they know Biden will destroy him. Well, if that’s the case, how do you explain the fact that some very well-connected, left-wing Democrats are funding Haley’s campaign to try to stop Trump?

Some of you may think that Haley is not “damaged goods” the way Trump may be. That’s because the left hasn’t turned its killing machine against her yet.

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, one of the most radical governors in the country, said that the GOP contest is between MAGA in its original packaging (Trump), MAGA with high heels (Haley) or MAGA in cowboy boots (DeSantis), adding that Democrats are “ready for any one of them.”

The left will turn all that fury and firepower at anyone we nominate.

If, by some coincidence, it’s someone other than Trump, that candidate will be asked 50 times a day, “Do you repudiate Donald Trump and his attacks on democracy?” If he or she says, “No,” they will be accused of being just as bad as Trump. If he or she says, “Yes,” then millions of working-class voters, who Trump brought to the battle, are going to stay home.

One thing that Trump, DeSantis and Ramaswamy have in common is that they want a strong national defense but less of the establishment’s interventionist foreign policies that have made us the world’s “policeman.” They want fewer foreign wars that drain our resources. When you add their votes together, that’s the overwhelming sentiment of the Republican Party.

Haley is the “odd man out” on that issue. Instead of being focused on our real enemy, communist China, she’s willing to get us into more “no-win wars.”

I want us to win the next major war, which will be fought against communist China. So, our allies must start assuming more responsibility for their defense needs.

SOS — Save Our Sovereignty

I have been working closely with the James Dobson Family Institute and former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann to expose the effort by the Biden administration to give away America’s sovereignty to the World Health Organization (WHO). This is just one of the many reasons why this upcoming election is so important.

President Biden and his operatives are working with the WHO on a new agreement for the next pandemic, even though the WHO terribly botched the response to the COVID pandemic.

The WHO is riddled with radical social engineers, communist Chinese influencers and every other bad actor you can think of.

For example, the WHO just put together a committee to produce guidelines for countries all over the world on how to handle the transgender issue. Predictably, the vast majority of people on the committee are either transgender themselves or radical LGBTQ activists.

In short, the WHO is on the verge of declaring that every human being on the planet has a right to decide their own gender and that our laws must conform to the WHO dictates.

The Biden administration is currently accepting comments on the “WHO Pandemic Agreement.” They need to hear from the American people now!

ACTION ITEM: The comment process, however, is different this time. For whatever reason, the comment page on the Federal Register website is not accepting comments. So, you have to email your comments directly. Here’s what you need to do.

1. Use this email address: [email protected]

The email address above is hyperlinked to automatically generate an email message for you that should include the subject line below. If it does not launch automatically, just copy and paste the email address and the subject line into your own email message.

2. Use this EXACT subject line: “Written Comment Re: Implications of Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS) Commitments/Regimes and Other Proposed Commitments in the WHO Pandemic Agreement”

3. Here are the key points to emphasize in your message:

  • State your opposition to the World Health Organization Pandemic Preparedness Agreement.
  • Tell them that you oppose the surrender of our sovereignty and decision-making to WHO bureaucrats regarding control of “pandemic-related products” and forcing disputes to be settled at the World Court in The Hague.
  • Tell them that you also oppose the Pandemic Preparedness Agreement because it threatens to stifle free speech in the name of fighting “misinformation.” Sadly, we know the so-called “experts” were the source of a lot of COVID “misinformation.”

The comment period ends Monday, January 22nd, so do not delay. Again, to ensure that your comments are received, you must include the subject line above in your message and DO NOT alter it.
