I want to revisit something I mentioned last week — the unprecedented speech by Senate Democrat Leader Chuck Schumer. His remarks were incredible, but not in a good way.
 
For the highest-ranking Jewish American in our government to go to the Senate floor and lecture Israel on how to run its democracy is disgusting.
 
Schumer is complicit in undermining our democratic republic with his opposition to overwhelmingly popular voter ID laws and his embrace of the Russia collusion hoax.
 
That hypocrisy is bad enough. But while Israel is still at war, he demanded that Israel hold new elections when more than 200,000 Israelis have been displaced from their homes because of this war. And Schumer thinks now is a good time for new elections?
 
But Schumer went even further. He not only called for new elections, he demanded a specific outcome — that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his conservative coalition be replaced with a liberal government. That’s called election interference.
 
Schumer wants Netanyahu gone because he says Bibi doesn’t have a vision for a future that includes a Palestinian state.
 
There was a Palestinian state on October 6^th. It’s called Gaza. They had their own schools, their own hospitals, and their own leaders. And the people of Gaza elected the terrorists of Hamas to lead them.
 
Hamas is dedicated to the destruction of Israel. That’s why they massacred more than 1,200 innocent Israelis on October 7^th. That wasn’t a “protest” against Israeli policy. It was an act of war and an attempt at genocide.
 
Now Chuck Schumer is demanding that Israel reward Hamas with an even bigger state. And he expects Israel to agree to that? It’s an outrageous betrayal.
 
 
 
Schumer’s Signal
 
We are living in a dangerous time. America is facing enemies on multiple fronts. We need friends and allies. Israel is our biggest counterbalance to Iran and the most reliable ally the United States has. And the Senate Democrat leader just stabbed Israel in the back.
 
Schumer’s speech sent a clear signal to every Islamic supremacist group in the world to attack whoever they want because when the going gets tough, the United States will pressure any nation to not fight back too hard. He sent a clear signal that the United States does not support Israel.
 
That’s the message Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, and ISIS heard Thursday. That message was heard in the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has assassins in the U.S. plotting to kill former Trump administration officials.
 
Schumer also sent a clear signal to every Democrat in Congress that they are free to publicly criticize Israel in order to appease their pro-Hamas constituents — the ones marching in the streets, disrupting events, and harassing Jewish students on college campuses. Even the Washington Post sees the obvious “shift.”
 
He sent a clear signal that the increasingly anti-Semitic progressive left of Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar thoroughly controls the Democrat Party.
 
There is no question that Schumer’s remarks were part of a coordinated attack on Israel. Think of what has happened this past week.
 
First, the intelligence community releases a report suggesting Netanyahu will be overthrown by mass protests and a more moderate government will replace him.
 
Next, the Biden administration provides another $10 billion in sanctions relief to Iran.
 
Then the Democrat leader of the Senate publicly attacks the government of Israel.
 
Now Hamas is offering a “peace deal.” They will release hostages in exchange for a permanent ceasefire and 700 prisoners — 100 of whom are in prison for life because they murdered Israelis.
 
These are not random coincidences. It seems like there was a meeting between Hamas, Tehran, and representatives of the Biden administration.
 
By the way, Schumer gave that speech with Joe Biden’s blessing. Schumer told Biden in advance what he was going to do. Not only did Biden not stop him, he told reporters it was “a good speech.”
 
 
 
The Reaction
 
Can you imagine our reaction if any foreign leader had so publicly criticized the United States and demanded the removal of George W. Bush just months after 9/11? That’s how Israelis are feeling today. They are shocked and stunned by Schumer’s treachery.
 
Michael Herzog, Israel’s ambassador to the United States, said, “Israel is a sovereign democracy. It is unhelpful, all the more so as Israel is at war against the genocidal terror organization Hamas, to comment on the domestic political scene of a democratic ally.”
 
The Likud Party declared, “Israel is not a banana republic, but an independent and proud democracy. Contrary to Schumer’s words, the Israeli public supports a complete victory over Hamas [and] rejects any international dictates to establish a Palestinian terrorist state.”
 
The speaker of the Israeli Knesset had this to say:
 
“On my recent state visit to the U.S., I was careful not to wade into American internal politics… We work with whoever Americans elect, and expect that respect in return. Senator Chuck Schumer has been a friend… But his words contravene the reciprocal respect that should define our relationship.”
 
 
 
The Threat To Democracy
 
Supporters of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., recently announced that they have enough signatures to get on the ballot in Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada. Kennedy also announced that he will select a running mate by the end of the month. One of the names reportedly on his list is New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rogers.
 
This news sent the Democrat Party into full attack mode. For the first time ever, it has dedicated staff and serious resources to “opposition research and legal challenges” to destroy third party candidates and kick them off the ballot.
 
Their efforts were on full display Thursday as CNN and other left-wing DNC mouthpieces started smearing Rogers as a conspiracy nut.
 
Do you see the pattern here? Democrats are the threat to democracy!
 
The party that runs around screaming about “threats to democracy” did everything it could to rig the Democrat primary and prevent Kennedy from challenging Biden. That’s why he decided to run as an independent candidate.
 
Now, just as they tried to cancel the election by kicking Donald Trump off the ballot, they are trying to manipulate the election by kicking other candidates off the ballot, like Kennedy, Jill Stein, and Cornel West.
 
And when the “defenders of democracy” aren’t too busy rigging elections, they’re lecturing us about “threats to democracy.”
 
 
 
Abortion Is Not Health Care
 
Vice President Kamala Harris became the first sitting vice president to visit an abortion center Thursday. She said she went to the abortion center because there is a “very serious” health care crisis in America today.
 
In Harris’s opinion, the crisis is that some states “passed laws that have denied women access to reproductive healthcare.”  
 
Translation: States are trying to save preborn girls, and the “solution” to this “health care crisis” is to deny those preborn girls their lives. Harris thinks more dead babies will somehow improve healthcare in America.  
 
Can you think of another health care “improvement” that involves the deaths of an increasing number of people?
 
Abortion is not health care. Health care is meant to protect life. Abortion is meant to guarantee a dead baby.  And what exactly is “reproductive” about abortion on demand?
 
I was reminded this morning of other “firsts.”
 
Former Vice President Mike Pence made history when he became the first vice president to visit a crisis pregnancy center, where dedicated Christian volunteers provide women with the support and resources they need to choose life.
 
And former President Donald Trump made history when he became the first president to speak at the March for Life.
 
What a contrast between the values of one party and the other.

• Arkansas is requiring all driver’s licenses to identify a person’s gender as “male” or “female” based on biological reality, not “gender identity.” 

• An Indiana high school that ordered a student to remove the American flag from his truck has retreated and apologized. 

• A Kansas judge upheld a law requiring government-issued IDs to reflect biological reality, not “gender identity.” 

• A federal judge in Texas blocked the Biden administration from reallocating funds approved by Congress to build the border wall. 

• The NXXT Women’s Pro Golf updated its eligibility policy to prevent men pretending to be women from playing on the tour in order to protect “the integrity of women’s professional golf and [ensure] fair competition.” 

• Riley Gaines and 15 other female athletes are suing the NCAA over its policy of allowing men pretending to be women to compete in women’s sports because it “institutionalizes cheating and discrimination.” This lawsuit comes on the heels of the NCAA admitting to Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) that it “never studied the harm” of allowing men to compete in women’s sports.
