As Joe Biden’s pathetic presidency comes to a dribbling end, it’s undeniable that he’s a frontrunner for the not-so-hyperbolic “Worst President in History” award. In his one term in office, he oversaw the most embarrassing and humiliating military failure in modern American history, drove the economy into the ground with out-of-control inflation and blind government spending, and welcomed millions of illegal immigrants to our shores to trigger an explosion of violent crime across the country.

And all this while spending nearly 40% of his presidency on vacation! Imagine what he could have achieved if he was in the office more than three days a week …

But while Biden’s horrendous legacy should of course hinge upon his administration’s foundational failures, we shouldn’t miss perhaps the biggest insult of all: the actions of a lame duck president — who happens to be quite literally lame — on his way out the door.

First, there’s the lie of the year — if not the decade — in Joe Biden’s decision to pardon his son, Hunter Biden, for any and all crimes he may have committed between Jan. 1, 2014, and Dec. 1, 2024, coincidentally covering any time Hunter Biden may or may not have been cashing in on the Biden family name in China and Ukraine.

That’s 3,987 days of get-out-of-jail-free cards for the man Biden promised he would never, ever, ever dream of pardoning.

Second, Hunter Biden wasn’t the only person to escape justice thanks to good ol’ Joe. Among the president’s wave of pardons and commutations, you will find a judge who raked in cash for sending children to a privately run detention center, a Chinese national who had 47,000 child pornography images, and a woman dubbed the “Black Widow” who was jailed for insurance fraud relating to three men she was suspected of killing.

Biden also commuted the sentences of 37 individuals on federal death row, reclassifying their sentences to life without the possibility of parole. Why? Because Biden opposes the death penalty. He’s principled, you see … except for the remaining three individuals who are still on federal death row.

And finally, there’s Joe Biden’s giveaway in the form of the increasingly ridiculous “Presidential Medal of Freedom,” the highest civilian award in the nation. Established by President John F. Kennedy, the medal is bestowed by the president in order to recognize those who have made “an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, or world peace, or cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.”

Among Biden’s choices? Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, Al Gore and Jim Clyburn and then, worst of all, George Soros, the billionaire puppeteer behind the decline of Democrat-run areas across the country into lawless anarchy.

Of course, given that Biden’s career is built on enriching those in his inner circle, is it any surprise the final chapter in Biden’s time as executive involves handing the nation’s highest civilian honor to the people who worked with him to destroy the country?

Joe Biden’s entire presidency has been one of failure, incompetence and insult. Jan. 20 can’t come soon enough.
