Greetings and Happy New Year, everyone; I pray your new year is off to a good start. Sadly, America awoke in 2025 to the news of an ISIS-inspired Islamic terrorist attack. There are (15) Americans who will not have a new year and another thirty-something who will be scarred for life. There are families who started the new year burying their loved ones who thought they had the freedom to celebrate and welcome in a new year on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. It was a reminder that we still live in a dangerous world, but perhaps that danger could be mitigated if we had stronger leadership.

We all remember that song by the Talking Heads, Burning Down the House. When I think of the outgoing Biden administration, that title comes to mind.

Here we are in America, still reeling from the New Year’s Day Islamic terrorist attack. We witnessed a pro-Islamic terrorist march on New Year’s Day in New York City, where they chanted for an intifada, yes, a violent uprising in America. That is not free speech, that ladies and gents, is a call to violence, sedition, treason if you are an American citizen, and inflicting death and terror. And what is the Biden-Harris administration’s response? Well, they want to shut down Guantanamo Bay and have released (11) Yemeni detainees with ties to Al Qaeda, two of whom were bodyguards for Osama Bin Laden…remember that guy? I suppose Biden does not want to be outdone by Barack Hussein Obama, who released five senior Taliban leaders from GITMO to Qatar. Those same five terrorists are now back in the leadership of the Taliban in Afghanistan, thanks to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ imbecilic withdrawal.

In addition to this release of eleven terrorists, whom the Biden administration asserts have not been charged with anything (as if this is a law enforcement matter), Joe Biden further seeks to burn down the house by releasing another high-level terrorist back to the Taliban for three Americans being held by the said terrorist group. And here we thought that Biden-Harris did not leave anyone behind in Afghanistan. Yes, this is another great move, just like releasing the “Merchant of Death,” the Russian arms dealer for a doggone WNBA basketball player. Oh, by the way, we are paying the Taliban millions of dollars in aid; guess where most of those taxpayer funds are going? Yes, to terrorist training facilities, once again established in Afghanistan.

You would think that with some two weeks left before hitting the door, Biden-Harris would not be taking actions to burn down the American house.

If you have not been following the news, a Biden administration military judge just upheld the plea bargain agreement for the three 9/11 planners, of whom Khalid Sheik Muhammad is one. So, the death penalty is off the table for these terrorists who were instrumental in the loss of over 3,000 American lives. What kind of military judge makes that type of decision?

But, it is not just our national and domestic security house that Biden wants to burn down, it is our energy security as well. Biden just issued an executive order to ban energy exploration on 650M acres of offshore area, along with restricting energy exploration in Alaska. Biden and Harris would prefer Americans to suffer and be slaves to OPEC nations, like Saudi Arabia and Venezuela, than be energy independent. He would prefer to burn down our house. And it is the belief that these actions taken by Biden will hinder the incoming Trump administration in restoring our energy dominance.

These are the policies and actions Americans must never forget. We must always remember that the progressive socialist left was more interested in burning down the American house and undermining the safety and security of our Republic. These Marxists, allied with Islamic terrorists and jihadists, were more concerned about enshrining their delusional ideological agenda into the life cycle of our Nation than protecting it.

White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre has stated the final weeks of the Biden administration will be jam-packed. I think we all would prefer that the final weeks of the Biden administration would be jammed with his packing…and focused on his departing. The worst president in our lifetime is self-immolating while he burns down our house. Good thing we have a very good firefighter taking office in two weeks. Biden, Harris, and the leftists will continue to burn, set ablaze by their own actions. The house of our Constitutional Republic will be restored.
