As the Israeli-Iranian war continues, we are all wrestling with the very real threat of a nuclear-armed Iran and justified concerns about another U.S. intervention in the Middle East. But there may be more to worry about than just the Middle East. The war could be fought here, too.
 
The FBI is stepping up surveillance of Iranian-backed terrorist “sleeper cells” in the United States. These cells are most likely connected to Hezbollah, and there is every reason to believe they are here.
 
In addition to Iranian terrorists, we have an unknown number of Islamist sympathizers. Radical Marxists and Islamists are taking to the streets and defending Iran. The disgusting chants from the pro-Iranian demonstration last week in New York City are telling.
 
“Iran, Iran makes us proud! Burn Tel Aviv to the ground!”
 
“US drones in the sky, Iran’s missiles will reply!”
 
“Courts and talks won’t set us free, resistance brings victory!”
 
And it’s not just radicals in the streets. One of the two major candidates in New York City’s mayoral race is under fire for defending the Islamist war cry, “Globalize the Intifada.”
 
 
 
Dangerous Stupidity
 
We are facing the deadly combination of radical Islam and the stupidity of our immigration laws that literally import hate into our country.
 
Hezbollah terrorists likely walked across our southern border during the past four years. The Biden administration didn’t care. They welcomed mass migration from countries that reject our core values. 
 
Thankfully, the Trump administration is taking action. The State Department released its guidance for additional vetting of foreign student and visitor visa applicants.
 
The new vetting procedures require visa applicants to make all their social media accounts public. Those accounts will then be reviewed for “any indications of hostility toward the citizens, culture, government, institutions, or founding principles of the United States.”
 
American Values, my non-profit public policy organization, has been advocating for precisely this kind of vetting for years. It should have been done a long time ago. But globalist-oriented Democrats certainly wouldn’t do it. Sadly, too many Republicans didn’t have the courage to demand it. Thank God the Trump/Vance team does!
 
 
 
A Big Win
 
A three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals handed President Trump a big win Thursday. The judges unanimously rejected Gov. Gavin Newsom’s demand that President Trump surrender control of the California National Guard troops he called up to protect federal buildings and agents in Los Angeles.
 
Newsom’s suggestion that he somehow outranked the commander-in-chief in a dispute over who controls a unit of the United States military is ridiculous.
 
This wasn’t some bizarre, unprecedented order by President Trump. Previous presidents have ordered the deployment of National Guard troops. President George H. W. Bush even went so far as to invoke the Insurrection Act during the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
 
And if these leftist riots continue (here and here), Trump will be more than justified if he invokes the Insurrection Act.
 
Newsom’s lawsuit was just more leftist theatrics meant to frighten some Americans into believing that Donald Trump is a dictator and “a danger to our democracy.” And the left-wing media eagerly went along with that lie. (See below.)
 
 
 
Promises Made, Promises Kept
 
When a terrible train derailment spilled hundreds of thousands of gallons of dangerous chemicals in East Palestine, Ohio, the Biden administration was too busy taking care of illegal aliens to pay much attention to the people of East Palestine.
 
Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg waited weeks before he showed up. It took Joe Biden more than a year to get there. Then again, he was known for wandering off and getting lost.
 
Then-Senator J.D. Vance made numerous trips to East Palestine and promised he would not forget the people there. Thursday, he kept that promise.
 
Vice President Vance, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and National Institutes of Health Director Dr. Jay Battacharya announced a $10 million, long-term study of the environmental and health impacts of the 2023 derailment. 
 
A few weeks ago, we learned that the Biden administration covered up serious concerns about the toxic cloud from an unnecessary “controlled burn,” as well as potential “cancer clusters” in the region.
 
Thankfully, the Trump/Vance administration is taking the initiative to help the people of East Palestine instead of ignoring them and covering up the dangers they face.
 
 
 
Media Malfeasance
 
The media meltdown over last week’s Supreme Court decision protecting children continues. The Washington Post ran a lengthy article Friday titled, “Ruling Sets Back Transgender Rights.” That’s what every fake news media outlet told the American people had just happened.
 
(Where in the Constitution do you find “transgender rights”? I must have been absent when that was discussed at Georgetown Law School.)
 
But how did this Supreme Court ruling set back “transgender rights”?
 
The ruling simply said that a state is allowed to protect young children from getting mutilating surgeries and chemical castrations for a psychological condition that will not be helped by these extreme physical and irreversible “treatments.”
 
So, when a state like Florida decides it’s going to protect little children from being taught that a boy can be born in a girl’s body, the headline will be, “Radical Conservatives Roll Back Trans Rights,” when in reality the state is upholding parental rights.
 
When a headline reads, “Riley Gaines & The Right Set Back Trans Rights in Sports,” what it really means is we’re protecting girls and women from men and boys who want to steal their honors.
 
The public is overwhelmingly with us on everything I just described. (Here and here.) But every day the evidence is clear that every elitist in America is on the side of a radical minority.
 
 
 
Not So Proud
 
“Pride Month” is coming to an end, and LGBTQ activists and ideologues are not happy. They did not get a big party at the White House this year. There were no celebratory proclamations like they got every year from Joe Biden.
 
The big “World Pride” event in Washington, D.C., was a bust. Major corporations are cutting back or canceling their sponsorships of LGBTQ events, leaving many “Pride” parades struggling to raise funds. One major “Pride” event was canceled, not for lack of funding but for lack of interest.
 
In fact, Jillian Michaels, a well-known fitness influencer who is also a lesbian, just said she no longer celebrates “Pride Month” because it’s been hijacked by intolerant fringe extremists. She is disgusted by the offensive public displays and the attempts to recruit children into “alternative lifestyles.”
 
And, as I just noted, the alphabet gang is really infuriated by the Supreme Court’s decision allowing states to protect children from chemical castrations and mutilating surgeries.
 
Something else is also happening that is drawing the ire of the LGBTQ crowd.
 
Pro-family legislators are daring to suggest we should have a Natural Family Month. Others are promoting a “Day of the Bible” and displays of the Ten Commandments. Of course, these efforts are bitterly opposed by the same groups that push LGBTQ indoctrination in our schools and everywhere else.
 
Some might argue that displays of the Ten Commandments violate the “separation of church and state.” That phrase is nowhere to be found in the Constitution, which does allow displays of the Ten Commandments. What it does not allow is stopping someone’s freedom of speech or forcing them to lie about biological reality.
 
But militant LGBTQ forces regularly try to get people censored, fined, or fired, and they go to war against anything they think might interfere with “Pride Month.”
 
 
 
Chuck’s Conspiracy Theory
 
Former “Meet The Press” moderator Chuck Todd is engaging in conspiracy theories. He believes Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance was a deliberate setup by some of Biden’s top aides in order to sabotage his campaign and force him out of the race. Todd said:
 
“I will go to my grave believing that the debate was intentional… the Biden [inner] circle was never going to admit the problem and that the only way you were going to force a change was sunshine. This is not about reporters reporting more sh-t. No, this was about people seeing it for themselves.”
 
That’s a bold theory, and after everything we’ve seen over the past ten years, I suppose anything is possible.
 
But after successfully taking Biden down and ousting him in a palace coup, these Democrat insiders must have been really shocked when they discovered that a completely healthy Kamala Harris was, in many ways, a worse candidate than a mentally challenged Biden!

• After action from the Trump Justice Department, Texas has stopped giving in-state tuition benefits to illegal aliens. Now, the administration is going after Kentucky. (How did these Red states allow it to begin with?!) 

• The Trump Justice Department is taking action against Wisconsin for failing to enforce election integrity laws. 

• New Hampshire Gov. Kelly Ayotte signed school choice and parental rights legislation into law. 

• One of the nation’s largest clinics that is mutilating children in radical transgender experiments is shutting down. 

• Another biased media hack bites the dust. ABC News fired leftist Terry Moran after he ripped off his mask of “objective journalism” in a hate-filled TDS-fueled tirade.
