In about a week, we will be celebrating the 249th birthday of our Nation, our Independence Day. It marks the moment when 56 brave men pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor in establishing our Country, these United States of America.

Just a few weeks ago, we celebrated the 250th birthday of our United States Army, whose motto is This We’ll Defend. I remember the real pride I felt on 31 July 1982 when I took the oath of office to become a commissioned officer in the United States Army. Several members of my family have also taken the oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, our rule of law. I have said, and will continue to say, that oath has no statute of limitations. If you truly believe and are willing to honor that oath, you are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice.

However, there are those in our Nation who take an oath but bring dishonor, shame, and violation of that sacred bond upon themselves. It is a very clear choice that one can make: be in service to our Constitutional Republic, serve, protect, preserve, and defend its foundational premises, or pursue something that is antithetical to our rule of law, and break your oath.

Breaking an oath has severe consequences, and when the breaking of said commitment risks the lives of others, there is nothing more dishonorable.

And so it is today in America, where there are those who are choosing an ideological agenda, a misguided religion, of undermining our national sovereignty.

Last fall, ICE estimated that there are over 600K criminal illegal immigrants freely roaming about in America. That disturbing number is the result of a former President and Vice President, along with someone entrusted with our Homeland Security, who violated their oath.

The US Constitution clearly states in Article IV, Section 4, known as the Guarantee Clause, that the United States, meaning the Federal Government, is to guarantee protection for all the states from invasion. When Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Alejandro Mayorkas willfully chose not to follow the rule of law and honor their oath, they became oath breakers. And with the recent bombing of the Iranian nuclear facilities, their disavowing of their oath has extreme national security ramifications.

This rot starts at the top with the progressive socialists and Democrat party. The recent nomination of an avowed socialist and Islamic jihadist in New York City reflects how that cancer spreads. But when this cancer metastasizes into our law enforcement agencies and officials, it is highly dangerous.

The American Constitutional Rights Union launched its Defender Initiative because the leftist ACLU was issuing threats and filing lawsuits against law enforcement officials, Sheriff’s especially, who are coordinating and working with ICE under the 287(g) program to remove the threat of criminal illegal immigrants and terrorists off our streets…abiding by their oath to the law, and their covenant to protect and serve. It is quite telling that leftist groups are targeting those abiding by the law, and upholding their oath. This is happening while countless law enforcement officials and elected officials do the exact opposite.

Meaning, these delusional leftists are putting your life at risk, while they tout defunding law enforcement and eroding your Second Amendment rights to self-protection.

Here are some examples of these individuals whose name should hang upon a wall of shame titled “Oath Breaker”…

• In Fairfax County Virginia the Attorney Steve Descano and Sheriff Stacey A. Kincaid

• Here in my locality, newly selected Dallas Police Chief Daniel Comeaux

• Massachusetts Mayor Michelle Wu

• Prince George’s (Maryland) County Department of Corrections Director Terence Clark

• Washington State Attorney General Nick Brown for bringing a lawsuit against a Sheriff cooperating with ICE.

• The Colorado legislative majority which refused to reverse a State law precluding law enforcement from coordinating with ICE. We remember the Tren de Aragua video from Aurora, Colorado.

These are just a few; there are many others, and the ACRU will call out these oath breakers as we celebrate those who honor their oath. It is imperative that the American people know who the ones are who care so little about their safety and security, as opposed to their ideological agenda. Those who are more than willing to put your life and the lives of your loved ones at risk.

If you choose to support these dishonorable individuals, then you are also a dishonorable individual. This Nation began because men and women chose honor and sacrifice over subjugation and tyranny…some choices never change.
