Greetings everyone from Skjolden, Norway, where I am aboard the Holland America cruise ship Rotterdam. I am here after a magnificent day at the end of Norway’s deepest, 1,308m, and longest, 200km, Sognefjord, known as the King of the Fjords. The beauty and splendor of this place, which we first visited thirteen years ago with our daughters, is breathtaking. I am here as part of the Media Research Center (MRC) summer cruise as a speaker and panelist. It has been a great experience to share thoughts, perspectives, and insights with supporters of the MRC, founded by Brent Bozell and now led by his astute son, David.

Exposing the Bias

The MRC is totally focused on exposing the Marxist left media bias and has been doing so for nearly 40 years. Their team of media analysts is constantly watching leftist media and analyzing what we all know to be true, that they are a complete leftist propaganda arm. One which would make Nazi German Minister of Propaganda, Josef Goebells, abjectly proud. I recall saying that exact thing when I was in Congress, and the left went into an apoplectic meltdown. I have never had a fear of calling out the truth.

One of the panels I was on discussed the issue of President Trump draining the swamp. It was then that I addressed the broader and more strategic definition of the swamp. Too often, we define the swamp as Washington, DC, but it is greater than that. The real swamp that we as constitutional conservatives must contend with is the three branches of rule for the Marxist left…something I have repeated often. This trifecta is the media, academia, and the courts. And in keeping with this past week with the MRC, I want to focus on the media branch.

Now, I know that most of you do not want to tune into ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, or MSNBC (or is it MS Now?). However, you actually do need to get a bottle of Kaopectate, Pepto Bismol, Tums, Rolaids, and any other over-the-counter antacid of choice, and check them out. That is what the MRC does, and does so very well. What you will find out is the existence of two completely and diametrically opposed interpretations of “news.”

Media Spin Examples

I just want to give you a few examples, knowing that you probably have countless others.

Consider a major “news” network, CBS, that does an interview with the Secretary of Homeland Security, Hon. Kristi Noem. Somehow, CBS decides to omit pertinent pieces of the interview, namely the facts about the so-called “Maryland Man,” a criminal illegal immigrant from El Salvador. Now, CBS attributed its purposeful and intentional omission to “having run out of time.” Methinks this is just another case of selective editing, which is censorship, by a Marxist leftist information platform, but that is how the leftist branch of rule, called the media, works. I suppose that CBS would use the same explanation for selectively editing out portions of their interview with Vice President Kamala Harris when she was the Democratic presidential nominee.

I just have to ask, how many times did the former Secretary of DHS, Alejandro Mayorkas, make the claim that our southern border was secure? And how many times did our leftist media not challenge that blatant lie?

Sticking with the Maryland man story, during the cruise, the MRC showed us measurable examples of leftist media bias. How many people in these United States have heard of and know who Rachel Morin was? Well, she was the Maryland woman, mother of five, who was brutally raped and killed by an illegal immigrant while out on a walking/jogging trail. The aggregation of minutes spent by the leftist media covering the story of Maryland man, as opposed to Maryland woman, is appalling. No one in the leftist media covered Rachel Morin’s rape and murder. Heck, leftist Maryland Senator Chris Von Hollen found time to travel and have drinks with a criminal illegal immigrant named Abrego Garcia, but never reached out to the family of Rachel Morin.

Or how about the tragic death of US Air Force Academy cadet, Ava Moore, who was killed while kayaking on Lake Grapevine by an illegal immigrant female on a jet ski, who then fled the scene. But, yeah, the border was secure.

I could go on, as well as you, with countless other examples, such as the leftist media decrying President Trump’s death, while covering for a brain-dead Joe Biden for four years. Imagine if Donald Trump were falling up the stairs of Air Force One, fell down biking (or golfing), and took a headfirst spill at a Service Academy graduation. Yeah, you know what I mean.

What Credibility?

The Democrat party today has somewhere around a 19% approval rating, not even a lap dog leftist media can help them since their ratings are even worse. That, however, does not prevent them from being a Pravda-like mouthpiece for the left, even as both see their “popularity” sinking like a rock into the depths of Sognefjord. They are not driven by the realization that they are losing credibility daily; their delusional and deranged ideology drives them to pursue their own destruction.

Think of the absurdity of an activist leftist court, another branch of leftist rule, advancing an injunction to prevent President Trump from implementing tariffs. Uh, McFly, this has been done by countless presidents in our history, but now it’s Trump; is it wrong? To the leftists and their media accomplices, yes, and the idiotic notion that the United States would have to repay tariff revenue truly earns the leftist media reporting such the infamous title of “chuckleheads.”

And how many unconstitutional actions of the Biden administration went unreported by the leftist media? We cannot even get the American Pravda media to report on the excessive use of the autopen; then again, why would they?

What about the trend of violence being conducted by those with the mental condition of gender dysphoria? The Minneapolis Annunciation Catholic School shooter did not support the leftist narrative, so they do not talk about it. Hmm, just like they did not want to talk about it in the Nashville Christian school shooting or the Alvarado, Texas, illegal immigrant detention facility attack. Instead, we get another chucklehead, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, blaming the incessant shootings and deaths every weekend in the Windy City on Red States having firearms. And the leftist media says what?

There can be no debate that the Marxist leftist media is a branch of the left’s desire to rule. Ya know, I find it very easy to debate a progressive, socialist leftist because they are fed so much bovine excrement by their own media. Once you maneuver them past their initial talking point, they are lost, unable to engage intellectually, and resort to their typical name-calling. Is anything going to change? Absolutely not, because they look at folks like Zohran Mamdani, Omar Fateh, AOC, Jasmine Crockett, Gov. Pritzker, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and believe that they are winning. When your approval rating is 19% and you’re referring to ICE agents as terrorists, you ain’t winning. But let them continue in their delusion as they attempt to fundamentally transform America under their totalitarian rule. Their disappointment will continue, and eventually they, meaning the Marxist left and their media comrades, will be relegated to a position of irrelevance.
