Two years ago on October 7, 2023, during a time of relative quiet, Hamas launched an unprovoked attack against Israel. We refer to this atrocity as the “October 7th attacks.” Israelis call it the “Simchat Torah Massacre” because Hamas attacked on the Simchat Torah holiday.
 
The goal of Hamas was to murder civilians. There are no major Israeli military facilities in that area. There was a music festival taking place. Young Israelis were dancing and singing. That’s who the cowards of Hamas slaughtered.
 
Then they went house to house slaughtering families and then they dragged Israeli hostages back into Gaza. The kidnapping of hostages is dripping with irony. Year after year, Hamas has demanded, “Every Jew out of Gaza.” And then what do they do? Drag Jews back into Gaza as hostages.
 
It is categorically false to say Hamas doesn’t represent the “average Palestinian in Gaza who wants to live in peace.” That just isn’t true. The Palestinians of Gaza elected Hamas to rule them.
 
On October 7, 2023, the Hamas terrorists were treated like conquering heroes when they returned to Gaza with their Israeli hostages. In fact, the Hamas terrorists had to protect the Israelis because Palestinian mobs tried to kill them.
 
Gaza and Israel exist side-by-side. If there is ever a “Palestinian state,” it would include Gaza as a nation living next to Israel. Well, how did the people of Gaza handle living side-by-side with Israel?
 
They took virtually every dollar of aid given to them by the international community to prepare for the next war. They built tunnels big enough to drive cars through. They turned hospitals into terrorist command centers. They plotted this attack for years.
 
If an Israeli walked into Gaza, their life would be snuffed out in a second. But Israelis allowed thousands of Palestinians into Israel every day to work. And when they entered Israel, many Palestinians took videos of security guards and noted their movements. They were essentially spies. That’s what Israel got for its openness to the people of Gaza.
 
 
 
The Enemy Within
 
The danger that Israel faces with “neighbors” like this is obvious. The related problem that we are facing—not only the U.S. but the entire Western world—is this: The enemy is already inside the country.
 
President Donald Trump said just that recently and was lambasted by the media. So let me say it: We have enemies inside our gates.
 
This week, groups like Students for Justice in Palestine, the Muslim Students Association, and other radical pro-Islamist groups are celebrating the October 7^th attacks. They are “commemorating the martyrs,” protesting in “solidarity” with Gaza, and holding “days of rage” against Israel.
 
Students for Justice in Palestine has been kicked off of some campuses, but it is still active on many others, and it operates much more freely and safely than Charlie Kirk was able to experience.
 
Philadelphia Educators for Palestine co-sponsored a rally yesterday. Here’s how this rally was being promoted on social media:
 
“Oct. 7 marks two years since Palestinian resistance fighters bravely broke out of the prison that the Zionist regime has turned Gaza into… Now more than ever, we must reject all normalization with the Zionist regime, uplift Indigenous Palestinian resistance, and honor the martyrs.”
 
These are the barbarians inside our gates.
 
Over the past two years, there have been major demonstrations not in support of Israel, but by supporters of Hamas. There have been riots on major university campuses in support of Hamas.
 
Just like Israelis had to hide in their basements and shelters on October 7th, Jewish students had to hide in their dorm rooms or lock themselves in libraries while roving mobs of Hamas sympathizers threatened their lives.
 
Just like Israelis are not allowed to enter Gaza, Jewish students were not allowed to walk across their college campuses. There were “Jew-free zones” on major publicly-funded universities.
 
When President Trump tried to get these universities to become American universities again, the entire liberal establishment—the media, academia, Democrat politicians, and left-wing judges—took the side of the corrupt universities.
 
The Western world has been rocked by anti-Israel demonstrations over the past two years. The Marxist political left is in an alliance with radical Islam against Judeo-Christian civilization.
 
Many Western countries have not found the moral courage to stop bringing in massive numbers of immigrants who despise Western values. These nations are literally importing hate and declaring war on their own people.
 
Donald Trump is trying to stop this insanity, but he is facing massive resistance from the Left.
 
 
 
Deal Or No Deal
 
President Trump is trying hard to secure a peace deal to end the war between Israel and Hamas. I am skeptical any deal will last because I don’t believe Hamas will ever accept the right of Israel to exist.
 
But the president is doing the right thing by trying to end the death and destruction, just as he has tried to do in Ukraine and in other conflicts around the world. If he succeeds, many believe he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.
 
 
 
War On The Horizon
 
During the opening session of the U.N. General Assembly last month, the Secret Service made a shocking announcement. They discovered a massive illegal electronic network scattered throughout New York City that was capable of shutting down all communications in the area.
 
Another and much bigger network has just been discovered in New Jersey.
 
These electronic weapons were likely built by a foreign enemy as a prelude to war. And from hidden communication devices in the cranes at our ports to “kill switches” in our solar panels, we have seen this time and time again from communist China.
 
If communist China invades Taiwan, it is planning to attack the continental United States and paralyze us any way it can. This threat doesn’t faze the Democrat Party. Nor does it seem to faze the so-called “free trade” wing of the GOP.
 
The possibility of a major war soon is why the Trump administration is making major investments in companies like Intel, as well as mining companies that can supply the essential rare earth minerals China is already withholding from us.
 
President Trump is desperately trying to ensure America’s access to necessary materials, but all he gets in return is snarky editorials in the Wall Street Journal.
 
The possibility of war helps explain why President Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth insisted on speaking directly to our top military commanders and publicly broadcasting their remarks that this is not Joe Biden’s woke military anymore.
 
 
 
Chicago Confederates
 
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson doesn’t know anything about American history. Monday, Johnson declared:
 
“I say very candidly that the right wing in this country wants a rematch of the Civil War. I want that to set in right now because the president of the United States of America has declared war on the people of Chicago.”
 
What is he talking about? The Trump administration is attempting to enforce the laws of the United States in Chicago, just like the federal government under Abraham Lincoln tried to eliminate slavery in the South. The South resisted, just like Johnson is resisting, and that caused the Civil War.
 
The mayor is clearly confused. He is the one defying federal authorities. He and Marxist Democrats are the ones signaling they want a rematch of the Civil War. The Democrats lost the first Civil War and they would lose another one.
 
 
 
The Real Threat
 
FBI Director Kash Patel just disclosed that Jack Smith, the special counsel under Joe Biden, spied on at least nine Republican members of Congress using the powers of the FBI’s Public Corruption Unit (CR-15) to monitor their phone calls. Not content with persecuting Donald Trump, Smith was trying to take down the entire Republican Party!
 
Patel declared:
 
“We are cleaning up a diseased temple three decades in the making — identifying the rot, removing those who weaponized law enforcement for political purposes… We terminated employees, we abolished the weaponized CR-15 squad, and we initiated an ongoing investigation with more accountability measures ahead.”
 
Donald Trump is not “destroying our democracy.” The real threat to our Republic comes from the totalitarian Left and its Deep State allies.
 
 
 
It Gets Worse
 
Another 24 hours has passed, and still no major Democrat is calling for Jay Jones, the Democrat candidate for attorney general of Virginia, to withdraw from the race. His website contains a long list of Democrat politicians and left-wing organizations that have “dug in” and continue to support him.
 
None of them have the courage to say, “We cannot in good conscience endorse a candidate who fantasizes about murdering a Republican lawmaker and his children.”
 
Remember in 2017 when Donald Trump commented on the demonstrations in Charlottesville, Virginia?
 
There were people demonstrating for and against the tearing down of Civil War monuments. The president said, “You also had people that were very fine people on both sides” of that debate.
 
Then, referring to an entirely different demonstration, Trump quickly added, “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.”
 
That didn’t stop Democrats and the media from lying and claiming Trump called neo-Nazis “very fine people.”
 
Within 24 hours, elected Republicans were disassociating themselves from the president and running for the tall grass. People on our side were willing to condemn Trump for something he did not actually say. The socialist Democrat Party will not condemn their candidate for something he did say.
 
Meanwhile, the situation for Virginia Democrats is getting worse.
 
In the wake of the 2020 George Floyd riots, many states considered various “reforms,” including ending what is known as “qualified immunity” for police officers, which protects them from civil lawsuits over their official actions. Virginia was no exception.
 
It’s just been revealed that Jones was pressuring one of his Republican colleagues to support eliminating qualified immunity. She told Jones if the state did that, “I believe that people will get killed. Police officers will get killed.”
 
He replied, “Well, maybe if a few of them died, they would move on, not shooting people, not killing people.”
 
The mind of Democrat attorney general candidate Jay Jones is corroded by hate. Such callous disregard for the lives of law enforcement officers is disqualifying. He should not be anywhere near the criminal justice system in Virginia.
