How many of you remember the tarmac standoff moment between then Arizona Governor Jan Brewer and President Barack Hussein Obama? It was about the issue of illegal immigration and the fact that the Obama administration was telling Gov. Brewer that it was a federal issue and the State had no jurisdiction. It is always quite comical how the Marxist left will invoke Article VI, Section 2 of the US Constitution, the Supremacy Clause, when they want the issue to fit into their box. Unfortunately, the delusion of the leftists is that they do not adhere to the three very important words in that clause, “in pursuance thereof.”

“Their” Constitution???

The hypocrisy of the left is that they will call upon the Constitution to try to finagle their ideological agenda. Leftists truly have little regard for the Constitution and our Constitutional rights if they do not align with their ideological views. A clear case in point was the Biden “autopen” administration defying the Constitution and the Supreme Court in granting college student loan debt relief.

But the constitutional delusion and the hypocrisy of the left are very evident when it comes to the issue of illegal immigration.

Federal Jurisdiction When They’re In Charge

During the first Trump administration, the left decided that they would pay no attention to the Supremacy Clause and honor the federal jurisdiction on the issue of illegal immigration. Article IV, Section 4, the Guarantee Clause, clearly articulates that the federal government has an enumerated power and responsibility to guarantee the protection of the States from invasion.

When someone breaks into your home and your Country, uninvited, it is an invasion. The left did not like the Trump administration following the rule of law and securing the border; therefore, they declared their States and Cities to be sanctuaries for illegal immigrants. Meaning they were admitting to harboring individuals who had committed a felony offense. Of course, the left will say that no human is illegal. Well, I look forward to breaking into Gavin Newsom’s house and just hanging out and eating up his food.

Then, when Joe and Kamala took over, the left decided that they want wide open borders, and filed lawsuits against States that tried to follow the rule of law, according to Article I, Section 10, Clause 3, which enumerates the State power and responsibility “if actually invaded.” In other words, when the federal government fails in its responsibility, under the principle of federalism, the States have the power to protect themselves and their citizens. But, no, the Biden administration brought lawsuits and restrictions upon States, like where I reside in Texas, for doing what they deliberately and intentionally were failing to do under the Constitution.

Not only that, the Biden administration sought to neuter the ability of the one federal law enforcement agency tasked with rectifying the issue of illegal immigration, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. Matter of fact, one VP Harris openly admitted to her quest to defund and eradicate ICE, which means the abdication of a constitutional duty, responsibility.

Illegal Immigration Hypocrisy

So, here we are all over again with the left’s constitutional delusion and hypocrisy on the issue of illegal immigration. Now we have the deranged Mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson, signing an executive order creating “ICE Free Zones.”

This is a complete dismissal and violation of the Supremacy Clause, and actually, Johnson should be charged with aiding and abetting criminal illegal activity as well as obstructing justice. Oh, that’s right, apprehending and detaining criminal illegal immigrants is not justice according to leftists. So here it is, when leftists do not abide by the Constitution in regards to illegal immigration at the federal level, they prevent States and municipalities from taking lawful action. When constitutional governance and the rule of law are applied at the federal government level on the issue of illegal immigration, leftist States and municipalities dismiss the rule of law, the Supremacy Clause.

Recent Examples

Here are just a few examples of the recently detained criminal illegal immigrants in Chicago:

• Stefan Cseve, an Austrian national (so much for that going after brown people line) convicted of sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual assault, and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
• Refugio Ramirez-Larios, a Mexican national, was arrested with convictions for concealing homicidal death and felony weapons possession.
• Angela Galindo Viveros, a Mexican national with convictions for armed carjacking and armed criminal action, was previously convicted for illegal firearm possession as a felon.
• Blanca Cecilia Sanchez-Sanchez, a Venezuelan national, confirmed member of Tren de Aragua.
• Antonio Rosales-Rodriguez, a Mexican national, was convicted or arrested for domestic violence, theft, and DUI. He also has a charge for criminal transmission of HIV.
• Cristobal Carias Masin, a Salvadoran national, has convictions for statutory rape, fraud, and aggravated felony. He has charges pending for assault and failing to register as a sex offender.
• Jose Sanchez-Torres, a Mexican national, was convicted of exposing himself to a child, driving without a license, and domestic violence.

This is just a small representation of the type of people that Brandon Johnson and JB Pritzker want to harbor, protect, and give aid and comfort. These are the people that leftists want to live amongst you, just so that they can have their ideological agenda furthered. Remember, 12 of the States that Kamala Harris won a year ago had no voter ID. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson does not have the enumerated power to tell federal law enforcement officers, acting in pursuance of our rule of law, our Constitution, that they cannot apprehend criminal illegal immigrants. Johnson, and these delusional leftists must come to grips with the realization that so-called “sanctuary states and cities” for criminal illegal immigrants are unconstitutional. And, they are criminally liable for harboring such individuals. Perhaps victims of criminal illegal immigrants should start bringing lawsuits against these hypocrites.

Lastly, if Mayors like Brandon Johnson persist in their defiance of our Constitution, there should be fiscal ramifications. Of course, there will be leftist activist district court judges who will try to issue injunctions against such actions. Funny, I thought judges were supposed to interpret the law. These delusional leftist activist judges only serve their ideology, not the people. This is why they did not speak up when Biden and Harris were in clear violation of our Constitution.

Incitement?

And as for these leftist elected officials who continue to denigrate, disparage, and demean our federal law enforcement agents, calling them Gestapo, Nazis, and jackboots, they should face charges of incitement to violence, which is what we saw happen in Chicago when ICE agents were rammed and boxed in. And certainly, what we see happening in Portland, where ICE facilities are under siege.

We are either a Nation of laws or we are not, and the delusional hypocrisy of the Marxist left when it comes to our Constitution must end.
