Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel made a stunning announcement Tuesday. A federal grand jury just indicted the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) on 11 charges of wire fraud, perjury and conspiracy.
 
The SPLC was formed 55 years ago to fight the KKK and advance civil rights. But over that time, they wandered from that mission and have been embroiled in various scandals over management practices and finances. The organization also evolved into a leftist smear machine.
 
During Ronald Reagan’s second term, the group’s entire legal staff resigned when it shifted its focus from civil rights to attacking conservatism generally.
 
The SPLC became a fundraising juggernaut. Its opulent headquarters is often called the “Poverty Palace.” In 2019, the SPLC fired co-founder Morris Dees, and its president resigned after a staff revolt over the organization’s toxic work environment, which included accusations of “pervasive racism.”
 
Several years ago, news broke that the organization had more than $90 million in off-shore accounts. Why? The SPLC has annual revenues well in excess of $100 million a year and has an endowment estimated at more than $780 million. Again, why does a “nonprofit” organization have that kind of money?
 
It turns out the SPLC was a massive left-wing scam. They were paying racists to do the hatred that Americans wouldn’t do. “The SPLC is manufacturing racism to justify its existence,” Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said.
 
The SPLC, which claims to track hate groups, funneled millions of dollars over the past 12 years to various hate groups, including the KKK and neo-Nazis. It tried to cover up these payments by running them through the bank accounts of shell companies or fake entities.
 
The SPLC funded the group that was responsible for the deadly 2017 Charlottesville riot, which Democrats used to smear Donald Trump for years. Joe Biden based his entire 2020 presidential campaign on the obscene lie that “Donald Trump called neo-Nazis very fine people.” He didn’t.
 
 
 
The Real Threat
 
For many years now, the SPLC has had one purpose, and it wasn’t fighting racism. It was to continually exploit “racism” and label all conservative views as “racist” or “hate,” including securing our borders, the sanctity of life and supporting marriage as the union of one man and one woman.
 
The SPLC and Democrats used that narrative to demonize half the country. When Obama and Biden occupied the White House, they used the SPLC’s so-called “research” to attack mainstream conservative and Christian groups, including the Alliance Defending Freedom, Focus on the Family, the Family Research Council (which I led for ten years), Moms for Liberty, Turning Point USA and others. I have been repeatedly attacked by the SPLC.
 
The federal government used their materials to indoctrinate our soldiers, our FBI and other three-letter agencies into the Left’s narrative that vast legions of “white supremacists,” “Christian nationalists” and “conservative haters” are the biggest threat to the country.
 
That’s how we ended up with Joe Biden’s FBI investigating parents at school board meetings and spying on conservative churches. And that leftist totalitarianism is the real threat to our constitutional Republic. (See next item.)
 
 
 
Crushing Conservatives
 
Virginia Democrats barely won the vote Tuesday 51% to 49% authorizing a radical redistricting plan. Just 35 votes per precinct would have changed the outcome. Yet, after demonstrating how narrowly divided the state is, Democrats will now get 90% or 10 out of 11 of Virginia’s House seats—all in the name of “defending democracy.”
 
The state’s current 6 to 5 Democrat majority perfectly matches the 2024 presidential election vote. But now 46% of Virginia’s voters who supported Donald Trump will only get 9% of the state’s congressional representatives.
 
Barack Obama hailed the result as “what it looks like to stand up for our democracy.” So, canceling the votes of conservatives who are almost half of the voters is “standing up for democracy.”
 
Remember this the next time you hear a leftist say, “We have to protect our democracy.” They are not trying to protect democracy. They’re trying to protect their own power by making everything that half the country believes unspeakable and even unthinkable.
 
The election was lost in the Washington, D.C., suburbs of Fairfax and Arlington counties. Statewide, the radical redistricting plan passed by just under 90,000 votes. In Fairfax, which will be the base of five new House seats, it won by nearly 150,000 votes.
 
Using an income analysis, the average person who voted Yes to steal conservative power would have an income much higher than the national average. And those who voted No would have middle and working-class incomes.
 
Democrats are going to use rich, leftist, pro-abortion, pro-transgender voters in the Democrat stronghold of Fairfax County to crush the small-town conservative values of Virginians across the state.
 
This is their new redistricting template. Urban areas in America and their surrounding suburbs are the richest areas of America. They are the most powerful economically. And Democrats dominate virtually every one of them. So, whenever they get control of a state, they will bleed those urban voters down into conservative districts through radical redistricting plans.
 
In the case of Virginia, a conservative farmer in a rural area or a blue-collar worker in a factory will become powerless and voiceless because a federal bureaucrat in northern Virginia who moonlights as a drag queen on weekends now has the power to bury conservative voters with an avalanche of craziness.
 
 
 
Not Over Yet
 
Democrats may be suffering from a case of premature celebration. Lawsuits are pending over various issues related to the vote. One of those issues is the language of the ballot question itself.
 
Virginia law requires the language of ballot questions to be “presented in plain English [and] be limited to a neutral explanation.” Now here’s the actual wording that was on yesterday’s ballot:
 
“Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia’s standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?”
 
The average voter who hasn’t paid that much attention would read that language and conclude, “Yes, I want fairness in elections.” But creating a map that is 10-1 for the Left is anything but “fair.” This language was a “bait-and-switch.”
 
 
 
All Part Of The Plan
 
We must never forget that all of this is being done in the context of the Left importing a new population of future voters through illegal immigration. They can hide from federal immigration police in urban Democrat sanctuary cities until the next Democrat president takes office and begins making them citizens.
 
The presence of so many illegal aliens in the country already gives Democrats approximately 14 more House seats than they should have. And we know the 2020 census was so badly botched it likely cost Republicans as many as five other seats.
 
But the brazen power grab by Virginia Democrats is a red siren warning that when “Ragin Cajun” James Carville tells us what they’re going to do, we all need to believe him.
 
If they Congress and the White House back, Democrats will end the filibuster. There will be no navel-gazing. No one on the Left will say, “Well, we shouldn’t do this because if we do, Republicans will do it.” None of those arguments will matter because there will be nothing Republicans could do to stop it.
 
They will do it, and they will make Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico new states, giving them four permanent Democrat Senate seats. Then, they will expand the Supreme Court to pack it with left-wing activist judges.
 
 
 
Speaking Of Illegal Aliens…
 
Israel Flores Ortiz, an adult illegal alien let into the country by Joe Biden, had been attending high school as a junior in Fairfax County, Virginia, until he was arrested on March 7th. He was recently convicted on nine counts of groping multiple girls in the school hallways.
 
To be specific, he was groping the genitals of female students in the hallways. These were often girls he had no relationship with. Were there any young men in that school brave enough to teach him a lesson?
 
Tuesday, Ortiz was sentenced to serve 360 days in prison. He will serve less than half that (140 days) because the judge gave him credit for time served during his trial.
 
But Gov. Abigail Spanberger and the leftist Soros-funded prosecutor in Fairfax County will not turn this convicted sexual predator over to federal immigration police to be deported. Virginia Democrats are more committed to protecting the “rights” of illegal alien sex offenders than the safety of Virginia’s young women.
 
 
 
Defend Your Rights
 
I know that among conservatives there are decent people who are willing to accept stricter regulations on guns. Don’t fall for that. If you’re worried about schools, then demand they put guards at schools just like there are guards at banks.
 
It is the fact that Red America is armed that stops the Left from completely taking over.
 
 
 
The Dearborn Democrats
 
Dearborn Democrats (radical Islamists) have hijacked the Michigan Democrat Party. More is coming out about the Democrat Party convention that took place over the weekend, where Democrat delegates endorsed a candidate who praised Hezbollah.
 
Pro-Israel speakers were booed and shouted down. One of the Democrat delegates was seen wearing a shirt that read “Resistance until liberation” with an image of a keffiyeh-wearing Palestinian throwing rocks. That is a call for violence against Israelis, if not a call for genocide.
 
One Jewish delegate said she brought a lot of new people to the party convention this year. She lamented that they left “shell-shocked” by the blatant antisemitism of Michigan’s Dearborn Democrats.
 
 
 
Happy Birthday, Israel!
 
Israelis have a unique way of commemorating Memorial Day and Independence Day—they are observed back-to-back. It would be like Memorial Day in America being July 3rd with Independence Day on July 4th. Yesterday, Israelis celebrated Yom Ha'atzmaut, or Independence Day.
 
In recognizing the modern state of Israel in 1948, President Harry Truman said, “I had faith in Israel before it was established, I have faith in it now.”
 
In 1948, Israel was promptly attacked by virtually all of its Arab neighbors. Israel prevailed, only to be attacked again and again and again. Even now, 78 years later, Israel is still fighting for its right to exist as a Jewish state.
 
But in the midst of this hatred, Israel has thrived. It has done so because of God’s blessing and because of the determination of the Jewish people.
