In a Truth Social post Wednesday night, President Trump opened up a new front in the war against Iran’s radical Islamist regime. Since the mullahs refuse to make a deal, the president is now imposing “the MOST CRUSHING ECONOMIC OPERATION EVER TAKEN AGAINST ANY COUNTRY!” He added:
 
“This will be Economic Warfare and Isolation on an unprecedented scale… Today, I am also announcing that ANY country that allows its financial institutions, businesses, airports, or government entities to provide any type of lifeline to Iran will itself face TREMENDOUS Economic Consequences… This will be an ECONOMIC D-DAY.”
 
The Iranian economy is reportedly already on the brink of collapse because of our naval blockade. The chief of Iran’s central bank acknowledged this week that the regime’s oil sales have “fallen to zero.” “It is a reality that we are not exporting oil,” he said.
 
Iran’s GDP is expected to fall more than 5% this year. Iran’s inflation rate is 88%. Food prices are up 164%. Its currency is virtually worthless. It takes 1,374,591 Iranian rials to get one U.S. dollar.
 
Meanwhile, the Strait of Hormuz is open and under American control, even though Iran still has the ability to threaten some shipping. U.S. forces have created a relatively safe shipping lane that is moving more than a dozen oil tankers through the strait every night. Oil exports out of the Persian Gulf are now running at 50% of their pre-war levels.
 
Of course, no matter what President Trump does, the media and the Marxist/socialist Democrats will criticize it, berate it and undermine it.
 
It is revealing that no one has asked the Democrats what their plan was to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons. How were they going to stop Iran from funding and arming its terrorist proxies? They didn’t have a plan.
 
The Biden/Harris regime expected Iran to become the dominant power in the region. They wanted another Obama-style nuclear agreement that did nothing to stop the regime’s nuclear ambitions.
 
That’s why we had to bomb nuclear facilities buried deep inside mountains. That’s how the regime was able to develop more missiles and drones and become a bigger threat than we realized.
 
So, as leftist Democrats always do, they just kicked the can down the road. The only real plan they had was bringing millions of illegal aliens into our country. They couldn’t be bothered with whatever was going on “over there.” But I do have one huge worry.
 
 

Tehran’s October Surprise
 
We’re all familiar with the phenomenon of the “October surprise.” That’s when your political opposition pulls off something at the last minute that can’t be effectively overcome before Election Day. I fully expect the Democrats will attempt some kind of October surprise. But I believe the Iranians may also have their own, which could be much worse.
 
Because of Europe’s open border fetish, there are Iranian agents all over the continent. They are here, too. I believe it is more than possible that they will try to launch terrorist attacks all across Europe and maybe here in the United States. It would be like the Tet Offensive in 1968. (The FBI just arrested an ISIS supporter for plotting to bomb the New York State Capitol Building.)
 
If something like that were to happen, God forbid, the entire Democrat/media narrative would be, “This is all Trump’s fault! This wouldn’t have happened if Trump and the Republicans hadn’t gotten us into this unnecessary war.”
 
NOTE: The Tet Offensive took place during the Lunar New Year holiday at the end of January 1968. The Viet Cong attacked more than 100 cities and towns in South Vietnam, even breaching the perimeter of the U.S. Embassy in Saigon. It was a military failure, but it was a political “tour de force.” It broke the will of the American government to continue the war effort.
 
 
 
Cleaning Up Biden’s Mess
 
Five years ago, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz honored Somali migrant Salman Ahmed Elmi with the “Outstanding Refugee Award.” Really? There’s an award for that?
 
Why do I suspect this award has nothing to do with a refugee promoting American values and Western liberty? It is more likely—and I’m only being partly facetious—to be given to a refugee who started an LGBTQ club in his refugee center!
 
Well, Mr. Elmi now has a new distinction: “Outstanding Refugee Fraudster.” He’s just been indicted for stealing money—your money—from Medicaid that was meant to help autistic children. He only hit the $1 million level though, and that’s nothing in Minnesota where Somali fraud is the “Big League.” Elmi might get sent back to the “minors.”
 
Some of Elmi’s co-conspirators have also been charged in a sex-trafficking ring. Needless to say, we’re not exactly getting the “best and brightest” Somalia has to offer.
 
Even worse things are happening not far from where I live in Fairfax County, Virginia. The insane policies of the autopen president and the open border Democrats continue to inflict pain and suffering on the American people.
 
In late February, Stephanie Minter was stabbed to death at a bus stop by an illegal alien from Sierra Leone. He never should have been in our country. But with 30 prior arrests, he never should have been free on the streets! Stephanie Minter is dead because Fairfax County is a sanctuary jurisdiction with a George Soros-funded district attorney.
 
Tragically, it just happened again.
 
Carmen Lizet Puch, the mother of a 3-year-old child, was stabbed to death in a Fairfax County park this week. Her alleged murderer is a 19-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador. Police were sickened and disgusted by the obvious rage that this illegal alien “just seeking a better life in America” unleashed on this mother of a young child.
 
Carmen Puch is the ninth person to be killed in eight homicide cases so far this year in Fairfax County. Half of the suspects in those murders are illegal aliens.
 
Establishment politicians and their Chamber of Commerce allies keep telling us that we must bring in large numbers of migrants to do the work Americans won’t do. But do we really have to bring them in to do the murders Americans don’t want to do?
 
This is the mess President Trump is trying to clean up every hour of every day. But the same open border Democrats and left-wing activists who created the mess are fighting him every step of the way.
 
 

Democrats Don’t Care
 
Yes, there are many hardworking illegal aliens in the country. But they were willing to violate the law to get here and take a job that could have gone to an American citizen. In many cases, they continue to violate the law by refusing to show up for their court appearances or by stealing your Social Security number.
 
When you open the borders the way Biden and the Marxist/socialist Democrats did, you can’t possibly sort out the good guys from the bad guys. The result is that American citizens, our neighbors, are being raped, robbed and murdered.
 
But Democrats don’t care how many Laken Rileys, Rachel Morins, Todd Stewarts and Carmen Puchs are sacrificed on their altar of open borders. Their goal is mass amnesty for every illegal alien in the country.
 
Amnesty means new citizens, and new citizens means new voters. So, the Democrats are willing to use the law—not to protect you, as President Trump is doing—but to maintain their political power by rewarding people who broke the law.
 
 
 
Spanberger’s Sex Predator Sanctuary
 
Two hours southwest of Fairfax County, three illegal aliens are being held in a jail in Staunton, Virginia. They are charged with committing sex crimes against children. But it’s very much an open question whether the leftists who now control Virginia will turn them over to our federal immigration police.
 
Last year, Virginia voters were told that Abigail Spanberger was a serious person, a moderate who was tough on crime. As proof, they pointed to her work at the CIA. (That makes me feel a lot better. NOT!)
 
Before joining the CIA, Spanberger worked at the Islamic Saudi Academy in northern Virginia. The academy became known as “Terror High” when a former valedictorian was arrested for plotting to assassinate President George W. Bush. 
 
Spanberger is a “trans moderate"—a radical pretending to be a moderate. Immediately after being sworn in, Gov. Spanberger issued an executive order restricting local law enforcement’s cooperation with federal immigration police, effectively making Virginia a sanctuary state.
 
There is nothing "moderate” about putting criminal illegal aliens before American citizens. It also exposes the lie Democrats repeat every time they say, “Of course, we want to deport criminal aliens.”
 
No, they don’t. If they did, they wouldn’t issue orders like that or shut down the government over funding for our federal immigration police.
 
 
 
Suffer The Little Children
 
There was a big celebration in the office of Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey recently. Over a dozen very happy ladies surrounded her desk at a bill-signing ceremony. Sadly, they were celebrating the deaths of innocent babies.
