President Trump issued a very strong statement condemning the riot that took place last week on Capitol Hill. You may well have missed it because the president has been banned from virtually all of the social media platforms where it normally would have been posted.

Here are a few excerpts of the president’s remarks:

“I want to be very clear: I unequivocally condemn the violence that we saw last week… Making America Great Again has always been about defending the rule of law, supporting the men and women of law enforcement and upholding our nation’s most sacred traditions and values…

"No true supporter of mine could ever endorse political violence. No true supporter of mine could ever disrespect law enforcement or our great American flag. No true supporter of mine could ever threaten or harass their fellow Americans.

"If you do any of these things, you are not supporting our movement. You are attacking it, and you are attacking our country.”

As the president noted, the MAGA movement is not the movement that has been engaged in violence. MAGA rallies are not violent. The violence happens only when leftists attack the people at the rallies.

Conservatives are not the ones who assault police officers. Conservatives believe in the rule of law, and we back the Blue. That’s why so many law enforcement unions endorsed President Trump last year.

Let me remind you of something that many people have forgotten. Democrats have spent four years creating the narrative that Trump and his supporters were dangerous and violent, and they did “create” that narrative.

Back in 2016, it was discovered that DNC operatives actually hired people to infiltrate Trump rallies to instigate violence. And the media dutifully exaggerated that violence and blamed it on Trump supporters. It was all fake news.

Meanwhile, antifa brags about its violence. Its reason for existing is to attack and intimidate conservatives.

There’s no question that there are fringe nuts on the right too. But they are just that — a fringe, which the president has repeatedly condemned. No one defends and justifies them, unlike the political violence on the left. (See below.)

Impeaching You

Hollywood and the media gleefully celebrated Trump’s “historic” second impeachment. Of course, the headlines were ludicrous. Both impeachments were fake and nothing more than raw partisan politics. And it was never really about Donald Trump.

For the second time, House Democrats abused the rules to impeach us. And we need to be clear about this in our own minds.

If you believe that unborn children deserve legal protection, and Donald Trump fought very hard for the sanctity of life, the left impeached you.

If you believe in religious liberty and want your church to be open, which President Trump has fought for, the left impeached you.

If you believe in the Second Amendment, which President Trump has protected, the left impeached you.

If you own a small business and have worked hard to save it this past year, as President Trump was fighting to reopen our schools and the economy, the left impeached you.

If you believe in real border security, which President Trump has fought for, the left impeached you.

If you believe in conservative judges who will interpret the law as written rather than rewrite it from the bench, and President Trump has appointed a lot of conservative judges, the left impeached you.

As Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats have admitted, this sham impeachment is about denying Donald Trump any chance at a comeback in 2024 because the left despises you and our values.

Tapper Goes Over the Top

During Wednesday’s coverage of the House impeachment debate, CNN’s Jake Tapper launched into a disgusting attack against Rep. Brian Mast, a combat veteran who lost his legs in Afghanistan.

Mast questioned the House Democrats’ lack of rules and procedure for Wednesday’s “snap impeachment.” Normally, the House Judiciary Committee would hold hearings, conduct some investigation, depose witnesses, etc. None of that happened this time. Instead, articles of impeachment were drafted in secret and delivered straight to the House floor for a rushed vote.

When Mast dared to question this gross abuse of the rules for a vindictive, partisan impeachment, Tapper had the audacity to question Mast’s patriotism, saying, “Congressman Brian Mast, a Republican from Florida, who lost his legs, by the way, fighting for democracy abroad, although I don’t know about his commitment to it here in the United States…”

Tapper should be fired. But there was no pushback from anyone on CNN.

The talking heads on CNN have repeatedly made excuses for antifa and the BLM rioters. And they are still justifying the left’s violence. This week, Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo once again raved about the rioting over the summer.

There it is, folks. They have freedom of speech. We don’t. They have the right to assemble. We don’t. And, apparently, they have a right to engage in violence too.

Useful Idiots

Led by Rep. Liz Cheney, 10 House Republicans joined Nancy Pelosi in voting to impeach President Trump. At a minimum, Cheney needs to resign from her leadership post immediately. As Rep. Bob Good noted, her support for impeachment became an instant “Democrat talking point.”

Here are the other nine House Republicans who bought into Wednesday’s insane kangaroo impeachment court:

I hope all of them are challenged and defeated in the primaries. As I explained above, what happened Wednesday was an attack not just on Donald Trump but on all conservatives.

These Republicans, including Liz Cheney, were not willing to side with the Americans who have been under constant attack from the left. And, by the way, they are the same Americans who defended her father when he was under constant attack from the left.

The Totalitarian Left

As if Big Tech’s assault on free speech wasn’t enough, now Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is demanding a commission to “rein in” the media. The left already controls virtually every major media outlet, so this seems a bit redundant to me. And it’s also clear that she doesn’t mean “reining in” CNN or MSNBC.

No, AOC wants to censor Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Breitbart and the handful of conservative media outlets that don’t toe the liberal line.

And who would these media “truth commission” members be? Hillary Clinton? James Comey? Nancy Pelosi? Eric Swalwell? Adam Schiff?

Talk about finding a needle in a haystack! It will be hard to find leftists one could trust with the truth. And, by the way, they are all part of a movement that doesn’t believe in truth!
