As you know, President Joe Biden traveled to Europe this week, hoping to rally our NATO allies amid the ongoing war in Ukraine. Not surprisingly, Biden said a lot of strange things during his European tour.

One of the most astonishing remarks was his claim that Europe’s socialist leaders have complete confidence in him. I seriously doubt that’s true. The world has dramatically unraveled since Biden took office.

• Russia invaded Ukraine.

• Iran has stepped up its terrorist activities.

• Biden seriously angered our Canadian ally.

• France recalled its ambassador from the United States for the first time in history.

• Saudi Arabia won’t return Biden’s phone calls.

• North Korea is launching ICBMs again.

Biden also claimed that European leaders were thrilled to have America back on the world stage. It was a way for Biden to pat himself on the back, and take a shot at former President Trump at the same time.

But, seriously, what does he mean when he says, “America is back?” The American people don’t think we are back.

According to one recent poll, 73% of Americans think our country is headed in the wrong direction, and they’re blaming Biden’s policies for making things worse. Just 34% of Americans — a record low — approve of Biden’s job performance.

Biden is just confused again. American inflation is back. It’s back at record levels at the grocery store and the gas station not seen since the Carter years.

Our open border is back. Biden stopped building Trump’s border wall and reversed his strong immigration policies. Millions of people have illegally crossed into our country since Biden’s election.

High crime rates are back, spreading fear and anger in virtually every major American city.

The opioid epidemic is back, killing young Americans at rates far higher than COVID.

Killing cops is back. Last year saw a record number of police officers killed in the line of duty, and this year could be even worse.

Who knows what Biden was trying to say. But the reality is that under Joe Biden, America’s back is up against the wall.

Biden’s Lies

In a brief press conference Thursday, Joe Biden called on a reporter from one of Germany’s leading newspapers, who asked about the possibility of Trump running again in 2024.

In response, Biden repeated the disgusting lie he has said over and over again about Donald Trump’s comments after the 2017 Charlottesville riot. That was five years ago, and Biden is still lying about what Trump said.

He claimed yet again that neo-Nazis marching in Charlottesville killed a young woman, and that Trump called them “very fine people.” This lie has been fact checked multiple times.

Trump condemned the neo-Nazi marchers. His comments about “very fine people on both sides” were about the people in Charlottesville protesting over historical monuments — not the neo-Nazi march, which was a totally separate event.

Here’s what you must understand: Joe Biden knows this is a lie. But he keeps saying it. (Joe Biden is not a nice guy!)

He’s doing it not just to smear Donald Trump, but to smear anyone who supports him as a “Nazi sympathizer” because that’s how the left sees conservative Americans.

Biden’s Bad Deal

While we are imposing massive sanctions on Russia, we may be just days — if not hours — away from a new nuclear deal with Iran. The United States and Iran do not talk to each other. Unbelievably, our negotiations with Iran are being conducted by Putin’s Russia.

Biden has already conceded that his deal will lift tough economic sanctions on Iran, and the Islamic Republic will be allowed to build several new nuclear power plants.

In addition, Biden has conceded that Russia will build them, in spite of the sanctions we have imposed. Those plants are worth billions of dollars to Putin’s Russia.

But wait… It gets worse.

The Biden Administration is reportedly allowing Russia to buy Iran’s enriched uranium, while Russia supplies Iran with fuel for its nuclear reactors. Supposedly, that’s how we will know that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon. In other words, Biden is trusting Russia to police Iran’s behavior.

This is insane!

But it gets even worse.

Just like the 2015 Obama/Biden nuclear deal, there is no way the Senate will be allowed to vote on the Biden/Harris nuclear deal with Iran. Biden will call it a “framework” or an “executive agreement” — anything other than a treaty, which requires 67 votes in the Senate to become binding law.

• Should we be sending nuclear material to the very nation we are trying to rally NATO against?

• Should we allow our enemy to negotiate for us in any deal with Iran?

• And who’s defending our interests or Israel’s interests in this deal?

These are legitimate questions our elected leaders and serious journalists should be asking. But anyone who raises such questions is smeared by the partisan media as “lackeys for Russia.”

Pray For Justice Clarence & Ginni Thomas

As you know, Justice Clarence Thomas has been in the hospital, battling an infection since last week. So, of course, the left has chosen this moment to launch a vicious attack against his wife, Virginia “Ginni” Thomas. I’m not surprised. The left is never constrained by the considerations of normal human decency.

While I am pleased to report that Justice Thomas was just released from the hospital yesterday, the “sucker punch” was thrown by Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward. His article was based on 29 text messages between Mrs. Thomas and Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows sent after the 2020 presidential election.

Woodward claims that Mrs. Thomas and Meadows were plotting to “overturn” the 2020 election. “Overturn” suggests illegality. What they were in fact doing was “challenging” the accuracy and honesty of the election results.

That is quite common in American politics. Al Gore challenged the 2000 Florida results in the Supreme Court, and Democrats challenged the results in Congress. They challenged the 2004 results, too. They also challenged the 2016 results.

In fact, Hillary Clinton still refuses to concede that she legally lost. She has regularly lied, claiming that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election from her.

This November, there will likely be at least a dozen House and Senate races that will be so close the losing candidates will refuse to concede. Some will demand recounts. Some will take their challenges to the courts. This is normal, not illegal.

Woodward continued his smear piece by writing that Ginni Thomas had conceded that she attended the “Stop The Steal” rally on January 6th. Thousands of people attended that legal rally.

Thank God we still have the freedom of assembly and the freedom of speech in America, even though both are under constant attack by the left.

The timing of the Woodward hit piece is not coincidental. It comes not only at a time when the Thomas family is under great stress, but also during the Supreme Court confirmation hearings for radical Judge Jackson.

Woodward and his leftist allies should be ashamed of themselves, but they have no shame. After all, these are the same people who celebrate the abortions of hundreds of thousands of babies every year.
