FBI — Federal Biden Intimidators
Biden’s FBI is not only asserting that it did nothing wrong, it is attempting to intimidate anyone who believes differently by mocking them as “conspiracy theorists.”
The FBI released an extraordinary statement Wednesday defending its behavior in the wake of multiple revelations about its efforts to censor free speech and shut down legitimate news about Hunter Biden’s laptop. Here’s the statement:
“The correspondence between the FBI and Twitter show nothing more than examples of our traditional, longstanding and ongoing federal government and private sector engagements, which involve numerous companies over multiple sectors and industries.
"As evidenced in the correspondence, the FBI provides critical information to the private sector in an effort to allow them to protect themselves and their customers. The men and women of the FBI work every day to protect the American public.
"It is unfortunate that conspiracy theorists and others are feeding the American public misinformation with the sole purpose of attempting to discredit the agency.”
Biden’s FBI is not only asserting that it did nothing wrong, it is attempting to intimidate anyone who believes differently by mocking them as “conspiracy theorists.” That’s the same rhetoric the left has been using to shut down debate.
By the way, the journalists who have been working with Elon Musk to release the “Twitter Files” are not “conspiracy theorists.” Nor are they die-hard Trump loyalists with an ax to grind.
They are all liberal but serious journalists who have previously worked for the New York Times, Rolling Stone, The Nation and ThinkProgress — all left-wing outfits.
Anybody who thinks it’s going to be easy to clean out the corruption in the FBI needs to see a psychiatrist. It’s going to be a brutal battle. In its own way, it may be an existential battle.
If we cannot reform this arrogant bureaucracy, put guardrails around it and answer the age-old question, “Who is watching the watchers,” our constitutional Republic is over. The FBI has assumed more power than the elected Congress.
Some suggest that Congress could cut the FBI’s budget. Really? As we reported earlier this week, there are credible allegations that the FBI spied on members of Congress and threatened them in retaliation for Congress carrying out its oversight responsibilities.
And even after everything we already know about how the FBI spied on Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign over a hoax, there seems to be little willingness to rein in the FBI. The omnibus spending bill currently under debate in Congress includes funding for a massive new FBI headquarters building!
This rogue law enforcement agency is censoring free speech and using its power to go after its political opponents. Any politician who doesn’t understand the danger shouldn’t be in office.
Nearly 50 years ago, Sen. Frank Church warned of the growing dangers to freedom posed by the immense powers of the intelligence community. We must heed those warnings.
About That Flag…
I don’t know if you watched Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s address before a joint session of Congress Wednesday night. But I was angry when Vice President Kamala Harris and Speaker Nancy Pelosi unfurled a Ukrainian flag in the House chamber.
It was an unusual sight to say the least, and I noticed yesterday that major newspapers did not feature a photo of that rare moment on their front pages. I suspect they understood that it would probably offend many Americans.
Harris, Pelosi and other leftists were quick to applaud whenever some radical like Colin Kaepernick disrespected our flag by taking a knee. They’re part of a movement that mocks Americans who proudly fly our flag on cars and trucks. Does Nancy Pelosi even fly an American flag outside of her California home?
When the Ukrainian conflict started, I noticed very early on in my own neighborhood that the same people who never fly an American flag quickly got ahold of a Ukrainian flag and put it up in their yard — right next to their “hate has no home here” sign.
I don’t have an explanation for why Harris and Pelosi were so eager to hold up a foreign flag, but here’s a wild guess: They really admire Zelensky.
While you don’t read much about it, he has banned opposition parties and nationalized the media in Ukraine. He has closed churches attended by ethnic Russians. He has restricted the freedom of assembly and the freedom of speech.
In other words, he’s everything that America’s neo-Marxist left wants to be, and they admire him for his ability to never let a crisis go to waste.
