After four years of investigation, Special Counsel John Durham released a damning report Monday detailing the corruption and rot within the FBI.

The report is a chilling indictment against the primary law enforcement agency that is supposed to be safeguarding our country, and it has profound implications for the future of America.

Durham’s investigation found that there was zero evidence to justify the FBI’s spying on the Trump campaign for alleged collusion with Russia. In other words, the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation of the Trump campaign and its continued investigation of the Trump Administration NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED!

Moreover, the FBI refused to apply the same standards to Hillary Clinton that it employed against Donald Trump. The double standard of justice is very real and very corrosive to our Republic and our system of checks and balances.

And the Durham report also makes it clear that the CIA and the Obama/Biden White House were in on the scam.

Here are some key conclusions from the Durham report:

“Based on the review of Crossfire Hurricane and related intelligence activities, we conclude that the Department and the FBI failed to uphold their important mission of strict fidelity to the law…”

“The FBI discounted or willfully ignored material information that did not support the narrative of a collusive relationship between Trump and Russia.”

“Senior FBI personnel displayed a serious lack of analytical rigor towards the information that they received, especially information received from politically affiliated persons and entities…”

“The promulgation of additional rules and regulations to be learned in yet more training sessions would likely prove to be a fruitless exercise if the FBI’s guiding principles of ‘Fidelity, Bravery and Integrity’ are not engrained in the hearts and minds of those sworn to meet the FBI’s mission of ‘Protect[ing] the American People and Uphold[ing] the Constitution of the United States.”

Even CNN’s Jake Tapper had to admit that Durham’s report is “devastating to the FBI” and “does exonerate Donald Trump.”

Truth & Lies

This report must not be viewed in isolation. There is a pattern of behavior that seriously undermines our constitutional Republic and the freedom of the American people. Here’s the shocking reality that confronts us today:

• Powerful elements of our government meddled in the 2016 election and in the 2020 election.

• Powerful elements of our government lied to us during both campaigns.

• Powerful elements of our government acted exactly the same way as any authoritarian regime might act to spread disinformation and suppress the truth in order to manipulate — some might even say “rig” — the elections.

Can you imagine how different things would have been if Donald Trump and the entire country were never under the cloud of “Russian collusion”?

If Robert Mueller’s investigation never happened?

If the impeachment hearings over a phone call never happened?

Neo-Marxist politicians and their media allies spent years calling the president “Putin’s puppet” and insisting that the “evidence of collusion was in plain sight.”

IT WAS ALL A TOTAL LIE!

The FBI took a Clinton campaign lie — the Russian collusion hoax — and twisted it into the appearance of truth in order to destroy Trump’s presidency.

Then, a few years later, the FBI took the truth — Hunter Biden’s laptop stuffed full of evidence of Biden family corruption — and twisted it into a lie in order to protect Joe Biden and the progressive left, thus causing all of the damage America has suffered over the past two years.

Wray Is Wrong

FBI Director Christopher Wray’s response to the Durham report was less than reassuring. Wray acknowledged that the FBI has “implemented dozens of corrective actions” that “could have prevented the missteps” Durham identified if they had been in place in 2016.

Director Wray is either misinformed or he’s lying. Either way, he’s clearly wrong.

As former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy put it:

“Just so I have this straight, we’ve implemented new FBI training so that agents know they shouldn’t swear in [FISA] court applications to the truth of political opposition research that they haven’t corroborated? What was the prior training that said that was OK?”

As John Durham noted, additional rules and regulations are fruitless if fidelity and integrity don’t mean anything.

The sad fact is that nothing has been done to prevent the brazen politicization that happened in 2016. I know that because the brazen politicization is still happening.

Biden’s FBI raided Trump’s home but not Joe Biden’s over the same issue!

Biden’s FBI is refusing to comply with a congressional subpoena in order to conceal Biden’s corruption!

This is important to keep in mind, my friends: While Donald Trump and his top officials were put through the wringer, the real victims are the 63 million Americans who voted for Trump in 2016 and the 74 million Americans who voted for him in 2020.

We are the ones who now have targets on our backs.

We were the ones who were censored on social media for telling the truth.

We are the ones who are labeled “domestic terrorists” for trying to protect our children in the public schools or for defending innocent preborn babies.

Our religious liberty, our free speech and our Second Amendment rights are all under attack now.

And five Supreme Court justices are being attacked because they are now the last line of defense for our values.

No one, including conservatives, can say anymore, “Oh, it’s just a few bad apples at the FBI.” It’s not just a few bad apples.

There are many good men and women who work at the FBI, but the rot is much deeper than we realized. The FBI is being used as a weapon to destroy populist conservatives.

This simple fact alone — that federal law enforcement has been corrupted to work against half of America — is reason enough to make sure that Joe Biden does not get four more years in office, no matter who runs against him!

The IRS Strikes Back

While we were digesting the Durham report’s serious allegations of corruption at the FBI, another bombshell dropped late Monday. The IRS is purging whistleblowers.

Attorneys representing a senior IRS criminal investigator believed to be handling the Hunter Biden case, informed congressional leaders that the investigator and his entire team have been dismissed from the case “at the request of the Justice Department.”

Why is Biden’s Justice Department telling the IRS to do anything?

Why is the IRS complying?

Again, more corruption on full display.

We’ll have to wait and see how this plays out. But one thing I know is that Sen. Charles Grassley of Iowa is a serious man. And one of the things that Sen. Grassley cares deeply about is protecting government whistleblowers. There are very clear laws that protect whistleblowers from any kind of retaliation.

Whoever is responsible for dismissing this career criminal investigator turned whistleblower just turned Sen. Grassley, co-founder of the Senate’s Whistleblower Protection Caucus, into a junkyard dog who will do everything he can to find out who went after the whistleblower.
