Government officials proclaim a clampdown on restaurants, and then celebrate at a dinner out with 22 of their closest friends. If you're Mayor Eric Garcetti or Gov. Gavin Newsom — or you cozy up to a top Democrat politician — apparently you don't have to "follow the science" or obey the rules they impose on others.
