Elissa Slotkin is deep-state CIA scum. If you, Dear Reader, take but one thing away from today’s angry missive, let it be just that: Elissa Slotkin is deep-state CIA scum.

Slotkin, the first-term Democrat senator from Michigan, was on friendly turf at the University of Chicago this weekend, where she seemingly let slip an innocuous comment about how young people ought to think twice before pursuing a career in Republican politics.

Here’s her exact quote: “I want young people coming out of school to say, ‘Should I go work for the Trump administration? Like, that sounds fun. I might get an opportunity.’ I want them to be like, ‘Lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don’t want, and so let me avoid participating in that.’ I want that deterrence message.”

In fact, there was nothing “seemingly,” nothing “innocuous” about Slotkin’s comment; nothing off-the-cuff, nothing extemporaneous about that vile “deterrence message.” Every syllable of every word of her utterance was the stuff of a cold, calculating, carefully considered CIA psy-op meant to chill the support and suppress the votes of a vital Republican voting bloc.

Nice career ya got there, kid. It’d be a shame if something happened to it.

Even her use of the word “Lord” as an interjection is calculated. Slotkin isn’t a Christian, but she knows full well that the people she’s targeting — the young conservatives, the ones who grew up listening to and learning from Charlie Kirk — have a Lord and Savior in Jesus Christ, and she wants them to know she’s speaking their language. Heck, I’m half surprised she didn’t go for the twofer by interjecting with Lawdy instead, thereby to chill the young black vote as well.

And just case her Mafioso message wasn’t crystal clear, Slotkin spelled it out: “The people around Donald Trump who are doing his bidding and enabling this have no such immunity. They have no immunity the way the president does. And to me, he couldn’t do any of this stuff without all of those people saluting and supporting it. So you go after the people who do his bidding.”

So much for encouraging young folks to get involved in politics.

Slotkin, then, is pushing for some sort of Truth and Reconciliation Commission — you know, like the one that treated those white South Africans so fairly and decently after the African National Congress came to power.

Not everyone in attendance was picking up what the sleazy Slotkin was laying down. Said one intrepid and free-thinking U of Chicago student named Michael Bicksel: “Sen. Slotkin, a self-avowed ‘defender of democracy,’ told me and other conservative students that we should live in fear of political persecution if we dare serve our country in the Trump administration. Sadly for her, we will never be intimidated by her Bolshevik-style tactics.”

Just so, Michael, just so.

Slotkin, you’ll recall, was last in the news in July, when she appeared before the Indiana Democrat Party’s state convention to confess to the dullards there that passage of the SAVE America Act would make it “hard for any Democrat in any state to win any election.” Talk about saying the quiet part out loud. I’m not sure Democrats could never win another election without the dead and otherwise illegal vote, but there you have it. She went on to lie that the SAVE America Act would “disenfranchise all married women” and force them to “show your birth certificate at the polls if you have a married name.”

Not to short-change Lillian Hellman, but sometimes it seems like every word out of Slotkin’s mouth is a lie, including and and the.

Let’s also remember that it was Slotkin, the former CIA officer, who headed up a previous Democrat psy-op — that of the Scummy Six insurrectionists — to destroy cohesion within our military and intelligence ranks by warning of unspecified “threats to our Constitution” and telling our warriors and spooks to “refuse illegal orders” — orders that were also strangely left unspecified.

David Strom writes at Hot Air, “Her message is clear: comply, or else we will destroy you. It is a totalitarian vision, and one that gets applause in elite circles these days.”

But it’s even darker than that. As constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley observes, Slotkin reminds us of Brando in “Apocalypse Now”: “The interview is evidence of the devolution of our politics where leaders are now fueling an anger addiction and promising unblinking rage in government. With many of her colleagues, Slotkin has gone full Kurtz.”

Indeed. All we need is for her to shave her head and add some face paint.
