Jennifer Welch, an influential far-left podcaster, has called for “pistols to be firing” at Vice President JD Vance. The Secret Service should pay her a visit. I’ve confronted this woman before. Here’s the story.
 
She and her co-host, Angie Sullivan, viciously attacked Christians and homeschooling families with disgusting rhetoric just a few weeks ago. I took apart their podcast sentence by sentence in my own podcast in a response for the James Dobson Family Institute. We should have done even more.
 
Welch just labeled Vance a “white supremacist,” the “Antichrist” and a “sociopath” who is “not fit to be a father.” She said, “JD Vance thinks two years from now he’s going to be president of the United States, and we need to keep firing, pistols firing at all times towards this guy.”
 
Don’t miss the pattern. As the Left always does, first she makes him less than a human being — “white supremacist,” the “Antichrist,” a “sociopath.” She’s doing that in an era in which there have been multiple attempts to assassinate President Trump. There were attempts to assassinate multiple conservative Supreme Court justices. Charlie Kirk was assassinated. The list goes on and on.
 
She called Vance a “failed drag queen.” That may sound nonsensical, but it would have perked up the ears of Transtifa — the violence wing of the transgender movement. Then she delivered her coup de grace assassination porn: “We need to keep pistols firing at all times toward this guy.”
 
That’s not a figure of speech like “We’re targeting this weak incumbent for defeat.” That sentence is exactly what it sounds like!
 
This woman and her co-host are not some fringe, no-influence commentators. They have interviewed Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Zohran Mamdani, and many high-profile Democrats. Will any of them call her out today? She has at least four million followers across various social media platforms.
 
There’s another lesson here we shouldn’t miss.
 
For those well-meaning Christians and other people still holding out false hope that this viciousness will disappear once Donald Trump is off the stage, no, it won’t. They’re already literally loading their guns for Vance. For those who think Marco Rubio won’t be treated the same way, you’re not paying attention.
 
This sort of stuff was said about Dr. Dobson and me. A few decades ago, both of us had to get 24/7 security. This is what today’s radical Democrat Party is. And it’s not going to get any better as radical Marxists and Islamists gain power and influence!
 
Some good people will say we need to pray for Jennifer Welch. Well, we should pray for everybody. But we cannot put what happens to her eternal soul ahead of the danger people like her present to everything we love. Praying for her to see the light is not the solution. It’s to make sure her darkness, and that of countless other people like her, is confronted and defeated.
