Re: Actually, Trump WAS on the Ballot

“This analysis is another example of why I have financially supported The Patriot Post for 20 years. Good, bad, or ugly, this team calls it like it is.” —Ohio

“Trump did not follow his own good advice. Without the American middle class, there are no consumers to buy products — and we’re dying from prices and controls. I thought he had listened and understood, but he spent too much time focused on Iran and other distractions.” —California

“Another word of advice from Thomas Sowell: ‘Some Americans will never appreciate America, until after they have helped destroy it, and have then begun to suffer the consequences.’” —Texas

“This is just about the best in-depth analysis on a political outcome that I have ever read, wisely and truthfully written. Another reason The Patriot Post is the only publication I trust.” —Florida

“Trump definitely failed to read the room when he told people to vote like he was on the ballot. I voted for him three times and largely support his policies, but even I am exhausted from his constant distractions.” —Arizona

“Fact is, both Trump Derangement Syndrome and the Trump Fatigue Factor are at pandemic proportions. And our country has paid a heavy price.” —Connecticut

“Thank your for ending this very difficult midterm election summary with such uplifting words of hope for our nation!” —Missouri

Re: Trump Fatigue and the Blue Tsunami

“The GOP under Trump has strayed far from the limited government fiscal conservatism that defined the GOP between Reagan and Trump. Populism is no substitute for principled free-market, limited-government conservatism. The sooner the GOP returns to its Reagan roots and away from Trump populism, the better it will be.” —California

“I’m in full agreement with your background fade suggestion for the president through 2028. Even more to that point, the Bible has a powerful admonition for Trump: ‘Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry’ (James 1:19). God’s wisdom is always best.” —North Carolina

“Two parties won in Tuesday’s elections: the Chinese Communist Party and Hamas. America lost. The past two years of President Trump have been like the Vietnam War: many technical successes and a PR disaster. But the latter is not solely due to Trump’s failure to present clear explanations of what he is doing. Besides the overtly leftist propaganda media and the red-green alliance in academia, there is some strong indication that Chinese bots have been spreading disinformation in American social media.” —Minnesota

Re: Trump’s Closing Argument Isn’t as Strange as It Seems

“The most important things Congress needed to address, they didn’t. The president is off his game on Ukraine and Iran, which they are blaming for high fuel costs. That’s incorrect. Dems are blaming Trump for high prices, which is also incorrect — Biden caused it. No one can lower prices except the individuals who create the pricing, and they are not about to as they roll in the profits. The economy is strong, and workers are paying less taxes and making more money, but I haven’t seen any candidates running on that. None of the things the president has done are issues candidates are putting forward. It’s as if they are afraid of supporting Trump, and they will lose because of it. We will lose because of it.” —Texas

Re: Can the Pope Vote?

“While our Constitution is explicitly silent concerning dual citizenship, and our government has done little to nothing to discourage it, the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance for an immigrant seeking U.S. citizenship clearly states, ‘I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen.’ Thus, our laws implicitly forbid it. The oath can be found in the Code of Federal Regulations at Title 8, Chapter I, Subchapter C. Part 337. If the pope has an ‘allegiance and fidelity’ to the Vatican, then his U.S. citizenship should be ‘paused’ while he’s the pope.” —South Carolina

“If a citizen can be shown to be acting on behalf of a foreign nation and is not registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, he is already breaking the law and can be disenfranchised. So it seems to me that this issue is already covered.” —Pennsylvania

“Pope Leo XIL is liberal or ‘progressive’ on religious issues. One might automatically assume he’s also liberal or progressive on political issues, which could affect some Catholic voters. I am a Roman Catholic to the core and find it questionable that he, as the leader of a state, decided to vote in our U.S. election. Catholics of my parents’ generation (I am 87) might have voted with the Holy Father straight down the line. Our people are more ‘enlightened’ these days and vote for their personal choice. I am still doubtful that he should have voted in our election.” —New York

Re: A Welcome ‘Presidential Message on Reformation Day’

“I agree wholeheartedly with your article and the encouraging message Trump gave, and the connection between the Reformation and the founding of our country. However, I believe that many ‘evangelicals’ are playing right into the hands of the ever-left-moving Republican Party. This is nowhere more evident than in the changes that Trump made to the platform as soon as he won the primary in 2024. He had already made it clear that he was not pro-life, even though he likes to use the Dems’ trick of straddling the fence and claiming that he is because of the SCOTUS appointments that led to Dobbs. I do appreciate his stance on the gender dysphoria issue, but he has not supported biblical marriage at all and does everything he can to avoid dealing with it. These are foundational issues, and if we, as Bible-believing followers of Christ, do not call the president and other leaders of this party out, then the drift will become a slide and eventually an avalanche!” —Kentucky
