Observations on the week’s analysis and commentary.
Editor’s Note: Thank you for sending comments on our news, policy, and opinion — we review every one of them. Here are a few reader perspectives, which don’t necessarily reflect those of The Patriot Post.
“Powell’s claims were dubious at best; a tabulator-rigging scheme like she alleged is easily defeated with a manual recount of the ballots. President Trump’s assertion that many of Georgia’s mail-in/absentee ballots were illegally cast was far more credible. Where he fell short was in presenting enough probable cause to motivate the Georgia secretary of state to at least take a look when he was not inclined to do so. We were told that his campaign had many witness affidavits alleging irregularities in signature verification, video of ballot box-stuffing, voter registration discrepancies, etc. calling 50,000 votes into question, but Trump’s lawyers have yet to publicly show it. Were they lying to President Trump and us? If so, why?” —Minnesota
Re: Biden’s Bid for More Ukraine Money Falls Flat’
“Biden’s only concern is the globalist agenda of the WEF. I pray that Israel will ignore anything and everything he says to them, since he is a liar and will stab them in the back.” —Texas
“It’s bad enough that Biden’s impotent weakness invites brazen aggression by thugs worldwide. But the fact that the White House shrugs off even knowing for sure HOW MANY Americans are dead or missing? UNFORGIVABLE.” —Georgia
“I notice Jews tend to DEFEND themselves against terrorist attacks and wanton assaults, while Muslims swear to Allah to eliminate all Jews from the face of the earth. There’s a difference in beliefs here, and the liberal, all-inconclusive, share-the-love, anti-all-hate-and-bigotry crowd have chosen Allah.” —Florida
Re: In Brief: Why Would Anyone Jewish Still Vote Democrat?
“And I would add: Why would any descendant of a black slave living in the South and having to suffer the 100 years of Democrat Jim Crow indignities and abuses even consider voting for a Democrat?” —Ohio
Re: Elections Have Consequences
“Prayerfully, the handlers of our current POTUS will avoid entangling us into committing our military into a completely preventable war that would almost inevitably escalate into WWIII.” —Missouri
Re: “Moratorium on Hiring Hamas-Supporting Law Students”
“While I love the fact that law firms make sure they have lawyers of good character, the thing that has stood out to me is: When does a lawyer take anyone’s word for anything? Most lawyers do some research to verify and re-verify, so as I see it, these law firms are doing their research and verifying information. Any lawyer who would take the word of anyone without verification has wasted their time going to law school, and the law school should have warned them. Righteousness does not equal research. Maybe we will have fewer working lawyers in the future, and that could be a good thing.” —Wisconsin
Re: This Just In: Animals Are Not Models for Humans
“Another illustration of the folly of looking to animals for moral guidance on sex-related behaviors would be spiders, octopi, and mantises — in many species, the female cannibalizes the male, often even before mating. Those who worship and serve the creature rather than the Creator will profess themselves to be wise and become fools, giving themselves to every reprobation man can imagine, despite the ill effects of their behavior.” —Minnesota
