Our nation is going through a major illegal immigration crisis, and it’s painfully obvious that it is intentional. Though many Americans acknowledge the crisis, the Leftmedia and Democrat establishments have conditioned many to self-sensor when it comes to illegal immigration. Among those many who self-sensor are Americans of Latino descent and Latinos who utilized the legal process to immigrate to the United States.

The Left continues its attempt to indoctrinate Latinos into believing they are victims in a country that hates them, and illegal immigration must happen and must be celebrated in order to stick it to the white man. Unfortunately, most Latinos still fall for this propaganda, but many have awoken from the leftist fog and have come out against illegal immigration.

Once the issue of illegal immigration is logically dissected, it becomes impossible to support it.

It is widely acknowledged that illegal immigrants are used for cheap labor. From construction to farming to hotel maintenance, we see illegal immigrants employed. What many fail to acknowledge is the mistreatment that these people endure in their places of work. Employers are not required to pay them fair wages, give them health or retirement benefits, or follow guidelines to keep their employees safe. If the employees dare complain or raise concerns, they are replaced or threatened with a call to Border Patrol or ICE.

The most horrific side of illegal immigration has to be the trafficking of women and children across the border. Border Patrol and ICE agents speak of the children dumped alongside the southern border. Agents say the children are in rough physical shape, and at times, the trauma they have endured causes the children to lose their ability to speak. Mexican journalists tell stories of groups of children at the border that seem heavily drugged or sedated. The children are usually in the arms of men who claim to be their fathers. The reality is that it is unknown whether the men are truly the children’s fathers.

Recently, Dr. Phil left the women on “The View” speechless when he stated that our government is facilitating the prostitution of children who are being trafficked alongside the southern border and doing nothing about it.

The notion that illegal immigrants are crossing the southern border for a better life is also unraveling due to the continued reports of violent crimes being committed by men who are in our country illegally. The Venezuelan government happily reported that its murder rate has decreased since Joe Biden left our borders wide open.

Although illegal immigration is not a Latino-only issue, Latinos nationwide are beginning to speak out against illegal immigration. We do not condone violent criminals entering our country and hurting innocent Americans. We do not condone the violence against women and children.

Safe and secure borders protect women and children, and that is a value that Latinos hold near to their hearts. It is okay for Latinos to feel anger toward violent criminals, and it is okay for Latinos to be against illegal immigration.
