The Political Swatting Surge
Several conservative influencers have been the target of criminal calls to police.
It’s no secret that political tensions in America have reached alarming levels. Passionate disagreements have been replaced with violent protests — and acts of violence and intimidation are now being framed as legitimate political expression, specifically by those on the Left.
Many radicalized activists have been led to believe that destruction is a valid way to channel their frustrations, and they don’t hesitate to resort to it whenever they don’t get their way. However, anyone grounded in reality — whether leftist, independent, or conservative — knows that such actions are not only illegal but also dangerous and unjustifiable.
The latest trend for the Party of Diversity and Tolerance is to target political opponents with something known as “swatting.” Fox News defines it as “when a person attempts to send armed law enforcement to another person’s house over a fake incident, which has led to deadly consequences in the past.”
Victims of swatting have previously been limited to officials in Congress. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has reported being swatted multiple times. At the time, she heavily criticized Joe Biden’s DOJ for refusing to take these criminal actions seriously.
However, these situations have risen drastically in recent months, with several incidents reported on March 13 alone.
The list of potential victims now extends to anyone who has ever expressed a political opinion that does not entirely coincide with Democrat orthodoxy. As those calling the police understand the heavily armed response that will follow, it is believable that they are hoping for the worst outcome possible.
Recently, Chase Geiser of InfoWars shared his experience of being swatted at his home in the middle of the night. On X, he posted the harrowing security footage of police surrounding his home, ordering him to come out with his hands up. Imagine being woken up by police officers pointing guns at your door, unaware that they have been lured there by a malicious false report, but knowing that a single misunderstanding or misstep in these high-stress situations could result in tragedy.
To be clear, this isn’t the fault of law enforcement. Officers are responding to what they believe is a legitimate and dangerous emergency. The true criminals are those making these calls, fully aware that they are putting lives at risk.
Another conservative commentator, Gunther Eagleman, was also targeted after a fake hostage situation was reported at his home. Thankfully, due to his good relationship with law enforcement, the situation was quickly de-escalated.
Shawn Farash, another conservative voice and hilarious Donald Trump impersonator, added his experience to the growing list. In a video posted on X, his wife described the moment she watched armed officers surround their home and point their weapons inside. She was the only one awake at the time, and she had to wake up her husband to speak to the police.
Who does this? What kind of twisted individual thinks this is acceptable? This is not a prank; it’s a calculated and potentially deadly assault.
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
The irony is impossible to ignore as well. The same people who claim to fight for empathy and justice believe that terror tactics are an appropriate way to achieve wins for their side. The truth is that this is an organized effort to intimidate, silence, and ultimately eliminate conservative voices.
Thankfully, Chase, Gunther, Sean, and others — as the reports of swatting situations have become a daily thing — are not backing down. Neither should anyone else who believes in free speech and the right to voice their opinions without fear of violent retaliation.
As for the people behind these attacks, they must face real consequences. Many folks argue that swatting should be legally classified as attempted murder, and it’s a valid point. When you intentionally send armed officers to someone’s home under false pretenses, knowing full well that a misunderstanding could result in death, you are actively attempting to cause harm.
In response, FBI Director Kash Patel has vowed to “crack down” on the trend. “I want to address the alarming rise in ‘Swatting’ incidents targeting media figures,” Patel stated in a post on X. “The FBI is aware of this dangerous trend, and my team and I are already taking action to investigate and hold those responsible accountable.”
Clearly, these acts of political violence have been excused under various justifications by Democrats for far too long. But that era is over. This is no longer Biden’s America, where leftist violence is swept under the rug. This is Trump’s America now — an America where law and order will be restored. It’s time for serious investigations, real prosecutions, and harsh penalties for those who attempt to use fear as a weapon against their political opponents.
