“This is absolutely awesome! The Democrats act like a bunch of spoiled three-year-olds and throw fits on a regular basis. All children need consequences for bad behavior, and Pelosi leads the pack in spoiled, childish behavior!” —Virginia
“If only, just once before my time on earth is done, I could see a politician actually held accountable for breaking the law. For 70-plus years I have had to watch people like Pelosi, Clinton, Waters, Newsom, et al. break the law and never, ever be held accountable and actually punished.” —West Virginia
“‘No man can get rich in politics unless he’s a crook.’ (Harry Truman) And doubly true that no woman can!” —South Carolina
“We need to require a valid photo ID for voters. Like Real ID, there needs to be a validation process. If you can’t be verified, you can’t vote! Yes, we need to suppress illegal voters!” —South Carolina
“Those pesky Republicans! Next thing you know, they’re going to require a person be able to read to vote. What next? People have to be alive to vote? How dare they!” —Massachusetts
Re: Clash of Cultures at Super Bowl LX
“Help. I’m confused. The halftime show portrayed a definition of America as the Western Hemisphere, not just the USA. America Vespucci is the Italian (‘Latin’) explorer after whom the North and South American continents are named. But when POTUS proposes renaming the Gulf of Mexico to be the far more inclusive ‘Gulf of America,’ that’s xenophobic, jingoistic, and fascist?” —Missouri
Re: The Minneapolis Mess Unpacked
“This is interesting, coming from someone advocating for amnesty-lite last week. There are no ethical arguments left for any form of amnesty. At best, you present a sermon to the choir here. The $64,000 question is, if maximum pressure is applied (arrests, trial, and convictions), will the bent minds change their mind? Doubtful. I do believe that the vast majority do not like the presence of illegal aliens in the abstract. Those who have had a bad encounter with an illegal alien have this in a more here-and-now setting. Both of these react negatively to seeing ICE forcibly remove anyone. Women and children are worth many more bleeding-heart points. Some advice on how to turn those minds towards an ethical path would be nice.” —North Carolina
Re: Deadly Immigrant ‘Chameleon Carriers’
“What we really need is for a lot (or better yet, all) of the states to pass a law allowing the state to confiscate any trucks and cargo driven by an alien who can’t read or speak English. This would discourage companies from hiring them or allowing them to drive a truck with the company’s cargo.” —Florida
Re: The U.S. Is Running Out of Time on Population Decline
“The writer fails to mention the loss of more than 60 million in population over the last 52 years by abortion. Extrapolate that number over three generations, and you find the issue is resolved. The government has caused this and allowed our culture to accept many false premises, such as overpopulation, thereby ingraining these lies. Now they step forward to solve the issue they created, again.” —Nevada
Re: Epstein’s Solo Act and Maxwell’s Fifth Plea
“At least Prince Andrew got a tiny bit of justice. I don’t believe Epstein’s island was just for his personal use. I really hope Trump isn’t so stupid as to pardon a woman who is prepared to perjure herself to exonerate Clinton, as her lawyer says. We may never see justice in this life, but we all face perfect justice in the next. Justice will be done, and that is a comforting thought.” —California
“To grasp further meaning of the times, I like to go back and look for words of wisdom uttered from the past. For instance: ‘Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.’ (Lord Acton) Practically prophetic! The cast of characters wrapped up in the Epstein debacle most assuredly describe and corroborate those who dwell in the land of ‘power’ and ‘absolute power.’ And, sadly, that power will most likely overshadow and nullify any legal ramifications for all those who bear this guilt. They may comfort themselves for a season, but take heart, all you righteous ones: our God in heaven will bring justice to all who flaunt their corrupt power. It will not be a good day for any of them.” —North Carolina
Re: Lack of Patriotism at the Olympics
“Is the behavior of individuals representing the United States at the 2026 Winter Olympics any surprise? Not to me. Not when you consider the indoctrination that our youth have been exposed to in primary, secondary, and postsecondary education and in the mainstream media. Most of them lack the ability to think critically or rationally. I can still recall the ‘miracle on ice’ at the 1980 Winter Olympics, when the U.S. hockey team defeated the favored Soviet team. The patriotism and national pride displayed back then were off the scale compared to what we see today.” —South Carolina
“Just a short comment that the author of this article has the gift of journalistic writing that is clearly written and thus easy to understand. She incorporated the important ‘Ws’ in her article: who, what, when, where, and why. Well done, Emmy Griffin!” —Florida
Re: America 250: The Separation Begins
“Thank you so much for these lessons on our American history! I’ve always enjoyed learning about history and especially American history. Would that it were still taught in our public schools.” —Georgia
