Gender-Confused Smith College Probed
The “all-women’s school” must realign its policies to reject the admission of men. Otherwise, it will face the consequences.
Ostensibly, Smith College is an all-women’s institution. However, in 2015 — the year of Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner’s “Woman of the Year” award from Glamour magazine — the college changed its policy to declare that it would consider any “cis, trans and nonbinary women” after protests erupted on campus.
Now, after more than a decade, the Department of Education is investigating the institution for Title IX violations. After all, if a school has declared it is for women only and yet accepts biologically male students simply because they are gender confused, or even just perverted, that school becomes, by definition, coed. It is thus no longer permitted to receive that special status as a single-sex institution.
“An all-women’s college loses all meaning if it is admitting biological males,” stated DOE Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights Kimberly Richey this week. “Allowing biological males into spaces designed for women raises serious concerns about privacy, fairness, and compliance under federal law.”
Smith College is not the only women’s institution in the country that accepts gender-confused men. Wellesley College accepts any person who consistently identifies and lives as a woman.
This entire situation at Smith College came about because students there were protesting in favor of accepting faux women. Ironically, biological females are predominantly the ones who are allowing men to invade their spaces.
Why?
Well, part of it is a perversion of our natural instincts. Women are more willing to go along to get along. We also value community and making sure that everyone finds their place within it. When unchanneled, however, this tendency toward empathy and community building can set us up for all sorts of issues, like men co-opting women’s campuses. This is what drives men who are genuinely trying to stand up for women and their rights absolutely crazy.
Secondly, in most colleges, there is a tendency toward feminism. And the feminist movement has long since taken a dark turn. What started out as “let women vote” turned into “women should not be encouraged to stay at home and raise children” to now “men can be women.” The movement as a whole has divorced women from biological reality and alienated them from their natural gifts, wants, desires, and instincts, all while convincing them that they should be happy about it.
The feminist movement has become nihilistic. To contemporary feminists, “woman” has no real meaning, purpose, or value. The term is merely a pawn for their larger agenda of perpetuating victimhood. As just another example, some women fight vociferously for the “right” to murder their preborn child and will deem themselves the victims if any guardrails are enacted.
As for Smith College, it must realign its policies to reflect reality, common sense, and the safety of female students. Otherwise, it will face the consequences of federal funding being withheld.
