Re: The Demos’ Disturbing Platner Problem
“Undermining a civilized society is an evolutionary process: Divide the family, diminish the accuracy of education, and insert self-aggrandizing rhetoric that appeals to the small self in low esteem and limited world understanding. Then build an emotional fence around them and vilify everyone who doesn’t agree with the supportive propaganda. Once they’ve lost the ability to think they are easy prey for mind manipulators, it’s just like catching a wild pig. Erect one fence wall at a time until they find themselves in thought prison. You don’t have to kill them because they are already incapable of resistance, and now their votes can be managed.” —Washington
“Alexander notes, ‘The good news is that there is mounting evidence Demo voters are not as crazy as their leftist candidates.’ Well, OK. Let’s just hope the Demo voters don’t say, ‘Hold my beer.’” —Oklahoma
Re: St. James Talarico the … Baby Killer?
“Jesus did say that anyone who harms a child should be thrown into the sea with a millstone around his neck. I guess Talarico doesn’t agree with that one, but I think that it is the best scriptural argument against abortion.” —Alabama
“‘Jesus never talks about abortion.’ This may be true, but didn’t He also say that those who abuse children should have a millstone tied to them and thrown into a river? Is there any abuse worse than willfully aborting a human life?” —Texas
“Someone who plays fast and loose with God’s Holy Word should not be trusted to read the Constitution honestly either. Two million Texans voted for Talarico or Jasmine Crockett. Perhaps the other 16+ million Texas voters will be less trusting. But Republicans should not take that for granted. Turnout for the Republican primary runoff was much lower than for the initial primary. Ken Paxton was down 291,611 votes, and John Cornyn lost 507,906 supporters.” —Minnesota
Re: Paxton Sends Cornyn Packing
“So, Maine Democrats will nominate a Nazi tattoo guy, and Texas Republicans have nominated someone who was impeached by his own party for bribery and obstruction of justice. Is this really the best we as a country can do? It seems that both parties want ‘brawlers’ who know how to play to the cameras but are incapable or unwilling to do the serious work of governing. I hope this isn’t like 2022, when the GOP primaried several incumbents, only to see most of them lose in November to the Democrat.” —California
“Will Cornyn finally reveal whether he is a GOP ‘war elephant’ or a RINO? As I watched the campaign, all I saw from Cornyn was mud-slinging (which is giving ground), while Paxton pushed for the issues that matter the most to me. I grew so tired of hearing the repeated slander about Paxton’s personal life. I wasn’t there when it all happened — I don’t know exactly what type of personalities were involved. As for the ‘investigations’ of malfeasance in office, what was actually proven? Nothing that would make me vote for an idiot Democrat.” —Texas
Re: Jill Biden’s ‘Never Ever’ Tall Tale
“As demonstrated by his unsubtle plagiarism in 1988, Joe was not worthy of being president. Ever. I always thought Obama picked him as a protective force shield. Having had a grandmother and father descend into senility when I was a teenager made Biden’s decline by 2020 obvious. It must have been more obvious to the DNC and the MSM. Yet they tried to cover it up until the debate. If Dr. Jill thought he was having a stroke, a major medical emergency, why did she allow the debate to continue? The lies, even within their inner circle, never stop.” —New Hampshire
Re: The Green Agenda Became Politics, Not Science
“I live on the prairie of central Illinois, and eight miles from my house, there is a newly constructed 600-plus-acre solar farm. This is on farm ground so fertile that it puts almost all the other ground in the world to shame. But with no shame, the climate alarmists have convinced the state government that we have to destroy this productivity for the gods of renewable energy. Wake up, folks!” —Illinois
Re: Why Do Leftists Find Patriotism Problematic?
“As a veteran with 80+ years of living, I no longer think about the unpatriotic among us. Believe it or not, I fought and bled for them, too, As to why they are ‘unpatriotic,’ it is a case of Darwin’s natural selection model: they simply were born without sufficient spine to carry the load.” —Texas
Re: Hegseth Congratulates the Cadets
“While I am a lifelong conservative and a U.S. Navy veteran, I must admit I had my reservations about Hegseth as SecDef, having only known about him through his career at Fox News. I’m sure the parents of young recruits can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that our Armed Services have a genuine leader with the desire to ensure all troops have the training, both physically and technically, to not only survive in dangerous situations but to thrive and keep our country safe!” —Georgia
Re: An Authentic Biblical and Political Worldview
“Yes. True faith does shine in the face of adversity. I am reminded of Joshua inheriting the mantle of Moses. The Lord had now given him the daunting task of crossing the Jordan River into the promised land. Even though a godly man, powerfully mentored by Moses, I can only imagine what was running through Joshua’s mind as he stood on the east bank of the Jordan getting ready to lead the Israelites to the other side — where their many enemies awaited them. At that very moment, God made Joshua this awesome promise: ‘No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you.’ (Josh. 1:5) By shining faith, Joshua moved forward. The rest is history.” —North Carolina
Re: Profiles of Valor: CAPT Hung Cao (USN)
“Great article on Hung Cao — an inspiring story of tragedy to triumph! As a retired four-star (USA), allow me to say he is a much-needed ‘disruptor.’” —Virginia
