You never want to see a story like this. Jessica Bowie was arrested Wednesday by the FBI for plotting to bomb the New York State Capitol Building. She is a relatively recent convert to Islam and praised Allah for the 9/11 attacks. But I think it’s fair to say she wasn’t the brightest bulb in the box.
 
She was spotted multiple times walking around the capitol building taking photographs while wearing a full burka. She went to Home Depot and bought nails to be used as shrapnel in her bomb—while wearing her burka. She told undercover FBI agents that she wanted to bomb Times Square on New Year’s Eve and the White House, too.
 
While Bowie herself was never a serious threat to anyone, she is another symptom of the dangerous radicalization that is taking place throughout the West. It’s a radicalization driven by hatred for Judeo-Christian civilization and hatred of Christians and Jews.
 
What’s more dangerous to the future of our Republic? This demented but inept ISIS supporter? Or the fact that the two major financial centers of the Western world—London and New York—have radical Muslim mayors?
 
(Speaking of London, the British government is now producing nine-page pamphlets telling newly arrived migrants that women have a right to be educated and make their own decisions and that it is not okay to rape women and children. Ain’t diversity grand?)
 
Every year, the Islamic call to prayer is heard five times a day in more and more cities and towns across America. The Islamist, anti-American social media influencer Hasan Piker has 3 million followers, and the Democrat Party is his number one fanboy. Democrat candidates and politicians crawl over themselves trying to score an appearance with Piker.
 
Rep. Ro Khanna, who wants to run for president in 2028, just said that the Democrat Party condemning Piker would be “showing weakness.” No, it would be a sign of sanity and a rejection of hatred. But they can’t do it.
 
Is Jessica Bowie more dangerous than Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed? I don’t think so.
 
She made a pathetic attempt to blow up a government building. El-Sayed got more than 740,000 votes for his radical Marxist/Islamist platform. Democrat socialists and their Islamist allies are making a deadly serious effort to blow up our constitutional republic by getting elected to public office.
 
The wannabe bomber hated America so much that she wanted to commit violence. The Marxists and Islamists hate America so much that they regularly tear down statues of our heroes and engage in other forms of violence. She wanted to blow up the New York Senate. The Democrat socialists want to abolish the United States Senate.
 
It’s good that law enforcement stopped Jessica Bowie. But the jury is still out on whether we’re going to defeat the growing Marxist/Muslim threat to America.
