Yesterday we posted a Hook, Obama Rejects Families of KIA, noting how his administration was refusing to pay the transportation costs of families to Dover AFB so they could retrieve and accompany a family member killed in action to their final resting place. Obama had also suspended death benefits for families (though that was reinstated after the political backfire). Commenting on the administration's actions, Rep. Duncan Hunter Jr. (R-CA), a Marine combat veteran, said the tactic was "an on-purpose, in-your-face, middle finger ... to military families." He was much too nice.
