EPA Experiments Were Harmful
Polluting people.
In September 2011, then-EPA administrator Lisa Jackson told Congress, “Particulate matter causes premature death. It doesn’t make you sick. It’s directly causal to dying sooner than you should.” Well, that was right about the time the EPA was exposing test subjects to airborne exhaust and particulate matter without properly disclosing the risk. Why is this important? As Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) put it, “When justifying a job-killing regulation, EPA argues exposure to particulate matter is deadly, but when they are conducting experiments, they say human exposure studies are not harmful.” No one died, but one subject experienced heart problems for which she went to the hospital. The EPA exists to regulate the stuff out of just about everything, and now we find that they’re trying to kill people. That’s more than bureaucratic malfeasance.
