Northwestern Union Vote
Reports say it failed.
In March, the National Labor Relations Board ruled that college football players can unionize. The case was brought by former players from Northwestern University in Chicago. Players voted Friday, and while the official results won’t be known for some time, unionization reportedly failed by a large margin. If the vote was indeed 4-1 against, as some are saying, then it should neutralize the issue there for a long while. Something tells us, though, it won’t be the last we hear of the issue.
