More Enrollment Figuring
Who knows?
Last week, the House Energy and Commerce Committee projected that 67% of ObamaCare sign-ups actually paid their premiums. But it turns out they underestimated the numbers, as insurers said this week that anywhere from 80% to 90% have paid. Republican figures were undoubtedly premature, hence the now-higher enrollment rate. Still, if 20% of eight million sign-ups haven’t paid, that’s 1.6 million people not actually enrolled, which means the White House figures were significantly too optimistic. That’s not to mention the duplicate sign-ups, or the millions of plans canceled thanks to ObamaCare.
