Arguing in favor of keeping insurance subsidies for congressional employees in the Senate -- all 6,500 of them -- Harry Reid told NBC's Chuck Todd, "Every other business in America, their employer helps them with health care. And we [the government] should be a major business." As National Review's Andrew Johnson points out, "He didn't mention what other major businesses only work a third of the days out of every year." Nor did he mention that the federal government would never even survive in the business world with the way they run things.
