Kansas taxpayers can breathe a sigh of relief knowing their money won't be going to state abortion providers. LifeNews.com's Steven Ertelt explains: "Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri dropped its legal challenge Friday. The organization filed a brief stipulation of dismissal Friday in U.S. District Court in Kansas. The case stems from a 2011 lawsuit filed by Planned Parenthood of Kansas & Mid-Missouri on behalf of their Kansas abortion-referral facilities in Wichita and Hays. Both clinics became ineligible to receive Title X federal family planning funding when the state enacted an annually-renewed proviso that such money go to full-service public health clinics and hospitals." Sadly, this story garnered little media attention. The Leftmedia focused on other progressive issues instead, like whether Michael Sam would make the draft.
