A Flip on Foreign Policy
Kerry is at it again.
Add interventionism to the list of things Secretary of State John Kerry was against before he changed his mind and supported. Kerry, aka “Flip-flop,” spoke at his two alma maters, Yale University and Boston College, this weekend in support of increased U.S. involvement overseas. “We cannot allow a hangover from the excessive interventionism of the last decade to lead now to an excess of isolationism in this decade,” Flip-Flop told Yale graduates. “I can tell you for certain, most of the rest of the world doesn’t lie awake at night worrying about America’s presence – they worry about what would happen in our absence.” This is 180 degrees different than what the Kerry graduating from Yale in 1966 told his classmates. According to Politico, he warned of the “serious danger of assuming the roles of policeman, prosecutor, judge, and jury, all at one time.” More…
