‘No Honest Disagreement’
George Will on Obama.
Political analyst George Will offered some strategic perspective on Barack Obama’s attitude toward political opposition, using the Bowe Bergdahl swap as a case in point: “When he says [controversy is] whipped up, he means it’s synthetic; when he means it’s synthetic, he means it’s inauthentic.” Will argues this political charade is a “recurring theme in his presidency, which is there’s no such thing as honest intelligent disagreement with him.” That’s true of ObamaCare, taxes, regulation, global warming and other policy, as much as it is about scandals like Benghazi, Fast and Furious, and IRS targeting. Seemingly to Obama and the Left, any opposition to the chosen policy of the Chosen One is clearly disingenuous. And racist.
