Jonathan Gruber, economics professor at MIT and author of ObamaCare, is the most recent liberal to be for the letter of the law before he was against the letter of the law. When a judge said healthcare.gov might not be legal, he flip-flopped on his original assertion, "If you're a state and you don't set up an exchange, that means your citizens don't get their tax credits. ... If your governor doesn't set up an exchange, you are losing hundreds of millions of dollars of tax credits to be delivered to your citizens."
