French Give Obama Vacation Advice
With their five-weeks of paid vacation, the French know a thing or two about vacations. They also know a thing or two about losing wars. (No malice against the French intended. Those are the facts.) So Obama should listen when the French give advice about either of those subjects. French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius recently gave Obama a piece of free advice, saying, “I know it is the holiday period in our Western countries, but when people are dying, you must come back from vacation.” But Obama took care of the Iraq kerfuffle.
