The 86-year-old matriarch of Kennedy, Inc., Ethel Kennedy, challenged Barack Obama to the ice water challenge. The stunt, in which a person doing the challenge dumps ice water over their head to raise awareness for Lou Gehrig's Disease, was apparently beneath the office of president. So Obama wrote a check to an ALS charity, saying in a statement "his contribution to this effort will be monetary," and went to play another round of golf. Cue former-president George W. Bush:

If Clinton accepts the challenge, he proves the aloofness of Obama. If he declines, he proves the snobbery of the Democrat presidents of recent history.
