Another Police Shooting, but Something’s Different
There’s been yet another police shooting, and the scene is familiar. “A wanted fugitive fatally shot by Salt Lake City police, who were looking for a man reportedly brandishing a handgun outside a convenience store, was unarmed and trying to comply with police orders when he was killed, his brother claims.” That report comes from the Salt Lake Tribune. There’s a couple of big differences from higher-profile incidents, however. This man killed by police was white, and there have been no riots.
