After Leading MI into Joblessness, Gov. to Teach Class on Job Creation
Former Michigan Governor Jennifer Mulhern Granholm will teach a class at UC Berkley about job creation. As for her experience, can we say the Democrat politician tried to create jobs? Under her leadership, the state’s unemployment rate went from 6.6% to 14.2%, and let’s not forget the financial state of Detroit. Director of Morey Fiscal Policy Initiative Michael LaFaive said, “Creating American jobs is not what she did during her tenure. In fact, she presided over one of the largest economic declines in Michigan history and herself fled the state in search of employment.” We’re guessing this will be a class that deals more in theory and isn’t quite grounded in real-world application.
