Warren Slams Obama for Protecting Wall Street
Elizabeth Warren is already distancing herself from Barack Obama, slamming him in an interview with Salon for his economic policy. “[W]hen the going got tough, his economic team picked Wall Street,” Warren said. “They protected Wall Street, not families who were losing their homes. Not people who lost their jobs. Not young people who were struggling to get an education. And it happened over and over and over.” In many ways she’s right – the Dodd-Frank financial regulation law codified “too big to fail,” and the president’s so-called recovery has largely eluded the middle class.
