No More Coalition Updates for ISIL Strikes
The Pentagon quietly announced Tuesday it would no longer provide daily updates on what our coalition partners are doing to combat ISIL. “Beginning with this news release, out of respect for participating nations, U.S. Central Command will defer to partner nations to publicly comment on their airstrikes against ISIL in Syria and Iraq,” U.S. Central Command said in a release. Translation: We’re not going to talk about their contributions any more because there aren’t any. Secretary of State John Kerry is apparently too busy chastising Israel and Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is too focused on climate change to keep that sorry excuse for a coalition together.
