Landrieu Chief of Staff Kills Campaign on Life Support
Sen. Mary Landrieu faces her demise Dec. 6. That’s when the Louisiana voters who care will head to the polls to decide the winner of the runoff election for the Senate seat. Problem for Landrieu is that the Democrat Party and the voters stopped caring about her the day after Election Day. Her campaign stalled as her campaign and Democrat groups spent $1.6 million to get her voters back to the polls. Her Republican challenger, however, has spent $7.7 million. She tried to show her leadership, how she was different than all the other Democrats in Congress, when she advanced the Keystone XL pipeline, which then failed. Now, a video of Landrieu’s Chief of Staff drives the final nail into the Landrieu campaign’s coffin. Don Cravins Jr. told a crowd on the eve of the November election, “She’s been in office for 18 years, and in the Senate, that’s what you need to get things done. And she will go on to vote with Barack Obama 97% of the time!” Problem is, the majority of Louisiana voters don’t support Obama’s policies. They don’t want those things done.
